I haven’t been making any walls for quite a while, except maybe fixing the same wall for months. =.=
Well, I have the urge to make a wall using Chen Shu Fen’s artwork today after browsing through some of my older walls in AP. Using photo manipulation skills as well as textures for walls can be fun at times.
For this wall, I’ve used one of the Chen Shu Fen scans which I’ve been hoarding in my folder for years. Then, I decided to make use of the photos taken by me (yup…supplying my own stock photos) : a façade of an old traditional building in Penang (Malaysia) and the flower in a restaurant.
Not many advanced skills involved in this wall, except the usual texture and grudge brushes that I like to use in my walls. Anyway, it is fun. Making a wall for myself made my day especially when I’m down mentally and physically for the past few days. By the way, it took me 3 hours to fix everything. Perhaps I’m in the walling mood today (even after medication…lol)
Hope my walling skills are not rusted and a big thank you in advance for the support! Comments are welcome as usual. Arigatou ne!
Edit: altered the colour of the pole...XD

Wow, one of the more realistic looking wallpapers I've seen in a while.
This watercolor style look is amazing, and the text actually is a pretty nice touch to such a nostalgic wallpaper. There's only one part I really dislike though, and that's the white pillar in the middle. It stands out a little too much in my opinion, clashing with the rather brownish looking interior.

what is the difference between the two revisions?

The colour if the pillar. I altered that. Perhaps I will erase my revision 1 to avoid people being confused with the similarity.

I love the posterized faded type background you've made, it feels like a really classic type wall, the text and character blend in really seamlessly! Great work reesha!

The realistic style makes it to a wallpaper, which you can see rarely here on AnimePaper. The manipulation with the real objects/stocks was a good idea for this. Not my kind of favorite wallpaper type, but guess there wil be many who will like it a lot.

A work of art. I like how you really brought up the color in her face which makes the blend in the background look stunning. Truly a work of an expert who knows his craft.
