Gankutsuou The Count and Haydee

its innovative and the thumbnail does not do it justice. I loee the whole parody idea, but red would've been a more obvious choice of overall color imo. Also, I love the pattern in the back but I don't like how it dies out so bluntly in the center and ends up on pure blue, which makes it seem a little too cheap.

Good thing you mentioned the parody, I don't know the White Stripes that well, so I wouldn't have noticed. I really like it alot, but I think you could have done without them holding objects, it looks kinda strange...but I saw that anime and I like the relation between Haydee and the Count, so this is a very nice wallpaper.

Good Job. Simple but good. Nice colors, but try not to use pure reds or blues in a wall. Maybe if you used a couple different shades of blue it would look reall cool! Keep it up!

Beautiful wallpaper .. i like your composition and the vector is perfect ^^ The only things i should say is that the hands aren't in a good position ... Well ... i don't know if i'm understandable enough so i'll explain : If their hands were in a good position : their thumbs will be turned in our direction ^^ try to make the same pose or look at the one in the "get behind me satan" cover as the and i think you'll see what i mean ... In fact the hand which is supposed to be a right hand is in fact draw as a left hand ^^ Sorry i don't have a good english ^^

Beautiful vector. The stock you used for Haydee's robe really suits the style of Gankutsuou, too. I think, though, that that empty blue space is a bit off.

heh, mighty interesting the background has character, as well as the characters hair too abstract and extravagant for my taste, but still very well done and massively stylish those various shades of blue look good on it, blue is a special color beautiful indeed

stylish....i absolutely love it, but i could do without the squidfinger pattern in the bg. it kinda throws off the stylishness cause it's kinda old-lady-ish.

Hm, this wallpaper is very unusual and has a neat sense of style. The background may be a little too plain, but it seems to go well with the characters. The wallpaper is very simple and clean, but it can also be very complex and intricate. Very relaxing shade of blues in this one. Keep the work and effort up, Crapmonster!

the patterns look really good :3 at first i thought i didnt like the blue in the BG in this one, but screw that, i do now >xD anyway the things i would just suggest if ur up to it..is the text? u could make it look like it's burning from the glare and maybe add some subtle flames at the bottom..@&#95;@ well that's all from me, mr. crap xD

wow, it doesnt look promising when i 1st saw the thumbnails. but after looking at your descriptions they made me curious and i clicked the thumbnail and i was astonished. comparing to the album cover i can say you did very well. additional textures to the scan and the bg was nicely done too. hmm im quite curious abt this anime, gotto watch it someday :)

I agree with the previous posts about adding more colors to the background instead of shaded blue. I was sort of confused about the hands at the back haha. But ya it looks really cool~ nice work

Omg I love this sooo much. This would not be the same in red. I don't knwo what they are thinking to suggest it. Amazing how you haven't seen it but capture the emotin of the anime perfectly. The blue color really brings a meloncholly saddness to the piece. This is going to stay on the ol' dp for quite some time.

Looks pretty good, the choice of colour seems a bit eccentric to me, because the blue and black for the background is the exact same colour as the clothing of the two, i dunno if this was intentional but it actually looks quite good IMO. nothing too much for me to critisize other than that xD

great wall, i think the patterns of the characters are really nicely chosen, but somehow the background isn't all that sweet, i think it fit's but it's somehow lacking the right finish. don't ask me what that could be though -_-;

IMO, the background could use a little more work, but like this both of them stand out more.

I like the use of blue here instead of their usual green tones. The hands look a bit odd, like they're just floating there... I think the image could've been just as effective without them. overall though, great job!

That's an interesting wall... the hands part reflect well how kind Haidee was and how scary the Count was , I think. Really well-made vectors.

This wall is really amazing! I love the colors and the theme is sweet.

The vectoring and texturing is really perfectly suiting the style of the anime and if you still didn't have the chance to watch it I would tell you to do so as soon as possible cause it's really an amazing work they did on the coloring and texturing of the anime... :)

Ah, very nice indeed. A nice wallpaper for a wonderful series. My only complaint is that the two hands in the background look a bit... odd. It looks like the hands are growing out of their backs-- ouch! Maybe you could've faded the edges around the hands to make them look like a completely separate image not attached to the Count or Haydee?
