Seitokai Yakuin domo Seitokai Girls

This brings back memories. You know, I also made a wallpaper for this show some time ago (while the show was still airing on TV), and it was quite fun (the show was fun). I never really cared to share it though (and I’m not planning on doing it either, at least not anytime soon).

Regarding your wall, well, as harsh as it may sound, I can’t say I like it. Basically your version looks like a “burn out” version of the original, plus the sun. I mean, your description doesn’t really tell me that much either, as far anything else you might’ve done to it (besides color adjustments, etc). Anyhow, I’ve never being that much of a fan of these copy/paste types of wallpapers (lack of interest and uniqueness). Unless, of course, something drastic it’s done to them to make them stand out a tad more from their originals (like textures, addition of other noticeable elements, etc).

Sadly, if I had to choose, I’ll still choose the scan over this.

I crop scans and throw a bunch of textures/lighting on all the time, but I don't upload them into communities. That's because that's where the Interwebz judges you as an artist - especially a place that retains your past works. It's like a portfolio. Your earlier works showed signs of a creative thought process, but this is just lazy. You want your AP Profile to be shiny, don't you?

This is just a scan isn't it. It's easy to tell because there's a lot of contrast in some areas which I usually never really see unless if it's obvious that its done for a certain effect. I think it would look better if you just took the president (forgot her name) and vectored her out, and have only her, because with 3 characters in one wall, it may make things look a little cluttered. The lighting is meh, and being only able to see the upper half of the other characters is awkward. Make it your own wallpaper by doing other things, either by vectoring and building a new wallpaper out of it, or figure out some different "effects" you can do... except with something like this I bet it'll be hard to do anything to it.

Shadow on her bag doesn't fit with the other shadows, light source problem I think........... XD
