I have never thought there will come a day when the greatest waller in all of walling history would churn out a new wallpaper worthy of worshipping in blind fervor. This is the wallpaper that everyone has been waiting for, excellent work on it, it is just perfect, the techno themed buildings, each one stands out on its own, the attention to detail is just fantastic, eyecatching and absolut ownage.

Then comes the girl, with excellent extraction, clean up, blending, and so much into the wallpaper is almost as if the wallpaper was drawn like a canvas around her. She is maginificient.

Love the moonlit night kinda feeling, with excellent power emanating from the wallpaper, everything about it just makes this wallpaper like the greatest ever f****** thing I have ever seen....heck...I ran out of words to praise you and your greatness....

I shall now fav and worship your piece on my desktop....you are a God.

Wow, that wallpaper is going to be one of my fovourites. The combination of motive, colours and general atmosphere is marvelous! The lights of the city and the moon are in sharp contrast to the darnkness of the place.

Love the details in the city and the use of colour is amazing.

I'm not so keen on the moon though - it does look like it was pasted on. Moons are pretty easy - you basically just need a texture that looks like it could be craters (so round shapes), then use the emboss filter to make it look raised, select a perfect circle, hit spherize filter once or twice to make it round, cut it out and apply shadowing. You don't need to worry about atmosphere or anything and you can pick your colours from a real moon picture.

(btw, the art is by Ugetsu Hakua, but she's actually from Bakuretsu Tenshi :).)

o man, my self-proclaimed idol did it again... wtf as dangerous as before lol. i think he drew everything with his katana and painted them with his secret sword techniques lol. this guy has a wonderful mind to visualise the bg and made it this well with the lightings,shadings and perspective. and he has put in hell lots of love in doing every bits of details. dont really mind the absence of roads here since it is a futuristic city and the buildings are just talls. i would suggest adding cars hovering around at mid levels of the buildings, if u want it, then there's no need for roads. cant really say the scan doesnt blend well since your shadings made it blended in. i have been a fan of your walls, hope than i can achieve the results like this kind someday. :)

Whats not amazing by you? Your cityscapes, your artistic shapes and tech designs never cease to amaze me. You should go professional like what Alyn or Airrage at DeviantART design. Some people like you deserve some money just by doing this. Do prints I think most people will enjoy having tech like designs in their room. Heck I would! To be honest here if I know my cities they need a little more radience and glow...not to the point of overdoing it. But thats just me. I love the city and I must say its near perfect for me! :P You did very well m8!

Its always good to see anyone use Ugetsu's art very well to creat such a marvulous wallpaper...though this character may not be my favorite from the series but some how with this great wallpaper she looks incredibly great with such a background.

I'm a HUGE fan of Bakuretsu Tenshi and a hardcore fan of Ugetu Hakua's art so right away I'm lovin' this wallpaper. Its just SO amazing how you can take a scan and completely transform the backround into the most beautiful scene which fits with the image so perfectly, as like your other highlighted wallpaper. The detailing is stunning and the use of colors, breathe taking. I think the perfect finishing touch would be sont white text on the right of Mario.

OMG.... When I look at the wallpaper... I just start to realize .. how little skills I have. The background ... is simply ... awesome. Many wallpapers don't have a foreground with such a detail present in this background. I am amazed by the quality and the absoltuly high detail. The foreground (the room with the main character) is simply beautiful and fits seemlessly to the background - and vice versa.

Overall: simply a must-fav!!!

Usually I don't like having wallpapers on my desktop that are "dark", but I just HAD to have this one 'cause the city in the background is SO COOL! ...and I like her boots lol.

Definitely worth to be high-lighted I must say. I'm simply astounded by the detail of the city that you have given into this wallpaper.

I am most impressed by the details of the buildings. The lighted lights at night, the reflection of the moon that is shining onto the glass window on one of the tallest building on this wallpaper. The horizon, where the moon is covered up by the tall buildings, which make the "Lower" ground dark, it gives me a feel that all kind of high and mighty people lives up in the buildings.

Anyhow, the horizon is well made too. I have no idea whether you coloured the scan, or is it already coloured, but it is really well done. And the platform that she is standing on too. The lack of roads don't really matter to this wall, as I think it goes pretty well with the whole theme, since the buildings are tall enough to block sunlight, so there should not been a road to be seen from a building that is stories high.

Though I personally don't like her. Hahaha. But other than that, really cool and really well done wallpaper. A really great job done.

Even though I'm not familiar with the show or its characters I absolutely love the way you did this wall! The background is just incredible, the whole thing is just incredibly detailed and very intricate, it would be just as cool even if the character wasn't standing there and all you saw was just that scenery!

Other than a sexual quality to the subject, the movement suggested by the model in relation to the background and the moon draws the eye.

The dark, limited colors (with exception of the model,) give a focus to the model through hue but encourage looking past with the blues in the sky behind and the moon.

Very nicely placed and done. You encourage envy of your work. ;)

Sir boing again manages to pull off an impressivly detailed and technicly excellently drawn piece of work . No matter what the subject , he always manages to finish it off with great use of lighting and a dizzying amount of detail that will often keep you discovering a few things more here and there whenever you take a look at your wall during the calm momments behind the comp .

Good Lord man! This is one of the, if not the most well constructed wall I've ever seen on this site (or anywhere else for that matter). The full view is nothing short of amazing, I swear I think I gasped out loud the moment I layed eyes on it.

The scan of Maria, the background (damn does that city look freaking sweet!) everything is nothing short of spectacular, a real treat for anyone's eyes.

I love the look of this wall. It's dark yet beautiful. The character is the main center-piece of the wall and really stands out it the darkness of her surroundings, yet though you can see that she is a dark being herself, she still luminates. Great job on the wall, I will add it to my favorites :D

Ahaha. I find the picture pretty intimidating, but I love the background. Although I think it's not quite and accurate representation of the city at night (there's usually more lights on; at least there are here) it matches your image well and it captures the appropriate effect for this image

Hi I think you're really proficient in doing urban landscape walling. I've got through your portfolio and seen the other works from you, most of them involve some form of urban landscaping. However, this is by far the most impressive. That is not to say the rest are lacklustre. They are good but this one sets everything apart.

I'm really amazed at how you were able to include so much details into a single picture all of the buildings and what not are not exactly repetitive, they seem to have been set in place individually and this probably speaks volumes about the effort you have invested in it. A katana wielding anime character in an urban landscape background is a refreshing idea.

It's a really well done piece of work but I thought the buildings were too cramped together. The feeling is just not realistic. Perhaps it might be a good idea to remove some of the cramped up buildings and having a couple of roads and vehicles in between would be good for a change. It may provide for a more realistic feel of city setting. Just my 2 cents. All in all, it's really wonderful and pleasant to see. Great job!

I like the dark gothic sci-fi appearence of the picture. It's really amazing. The caracter looks more like a demon of something else though, not something that belongs in a sci-fi scene such as the background.

This is obviously an amazing wallpaper. It is one of the most popular ones on the site, and deservably so.

If I have ONE suggestion (and it's more of a stylistic preference), I think it would be cooler if you put some glass in front of her. Like she's standing in front of a giant window. Put some slight distortion effects in it, and some light, light reflections... basically a crazy amount of work, but, hey... you gotta keep pushing yourself.

Right now it looks amazing. But it also doesn't look like there's any glass in front of her. Which is fine, but it might be cooler if there was.
