I was looking for a b/w scan to color and so I found some sketches from the FLCL designworks. It was a simple character scan but I still chose Ninamori because she is an overlooked character and I liked her. Especially in the manga. So I colored her in purple o.o OMG the color can cause cancer of the eyes. But FLCL isn't a beautiful anime with cute girls and nice pictures. It's got its own style. That's why I added the brushes on each color layer. My original idea xD hahaha~ The scene in the background is the place where the river flows. There's the bridge, see :3? First I made the outlines and then colored it like the character. But it looked like an oil paiting, so that's why, again, I added the brushes and soundwords (selfmade brushes, yayz).
If I hear anyone complaining about the colors, I'll report their comments xD I welcome constructive critique very much. However not comments as 'i don't like this'. Advice is very nice (I made a rhyme xD I'm so cool).
At last, I'm thankful for all your comments you're giving me. This wallpaper is dedicated to all FLCL fans. And I'm sorry for my poor English, I guess I need to join Kev's new group xD

You're putting very much effort into your wallpapers. The colouring of the grey scan of Ninamori turned out really good and the background is greatly done too with its colour-soundword accents over the scene. Really original and cool wallpaper. Judging from the title Ninamori seems to be sick of her parents but I hope you'll never become tired of making wallpapers. I am looking forward to your next works.

I don't want to sound harsh or anything (I am a FLCL fan just not like Tsukihime lol), but I don't like a few things about your wp: Purple doesn't look good. *hides* No, really :/ it stands out too much *hopes to live tommorow* The bg has far less defined shadows than the girl, so it kinda lacks depth compared to her. Ninamori looks far more 3D/contrasty than the bg, i.e. the tiles. More paint would be nice, even better if it was not on canvas but on the bridge/etc. itself.
This was all just an opinion of a person who is TOTAL FAILURE at painting and who should NOT be here at almost 4 am. Don't kill/hate me *_*

Well, it's definitely something different and quite original, so you get the big win for that :D.
It's not really to my taste, I must admit, so you may want to take the following in that light. I don't think the bits of colour that look like encil marks really work. The rest of the wall has an oil or acrylic feel, and the pencil bits sort of seem like a bad mix of mediums, if you see what I mean.

Oh, I love this. The colors are soft, yet compliment each other. You maintain the same feel from character to bg; it's wonderfully seamless. You did a very wonderful job on this. +fav for me. :inu:

the sky on FLCL is usually orange...ish. don't think i've ever seen it blue... but other than that, this is cute. but what is goin' on with her hand? oh well, i like it anyway, Ninamora is cool. added to favorites. :3

Hmm..Her skin looks abit dark, but overall great colouring. The wallpaper is put together very nicely aswell. I really like it Go Ninamori!

She looks a lot darker compared how I remember her, pretty long ago when I watched FLCL. Even if this stlye is not my taste I must say is quite unique painting style.
