Been awhile since I posted because I've been getting crap from a bunch of wallpaper websites.
Just a little something I did during a class. It's a remake of a wallpaper I did with Hatsune Miku... but that was an edited image and I wasn't sure who even made it even after extensive searching.
If this gets through I'll probably make more wallpapers, soooo let's hope for the best? If this wallpaper lasts a week on here I'll probably post it on multiple other websites under the same name.
Use it as you like, but if anyone else posts this without my permission please message me here or on any other means as long as the account has the same name on it.
Also, there are no more 16:10 wallpapers coming from me because I got a new computer with a 1366x768 screen which is... the same ratio.. as.. 1920x1080.. which I believe is... 16:9? and also the computers at school use 1920x1080 so it all works out for me.
I'll try and see if I can recreate it again for a different resolution or see if I can get a website to do some cutting for me... but then again some of the text will probably be cut off... which... obviously.. will look terri-bad
now.. onto the boring stuff
Well... I started out with a render... yes a render, hooray for low quality stuff. I also had a photo of a sunset lying around sooo put that to use. A lot of trial and error when it came to matching the hue and saturation. The saturation is lower towards the edges, which includes Misuzu.The only reason why the lighting on Misuzu is darker than the lighting in the background is because the light is coming from behind her, so you shouldn't be able to see too much light coming off of her to begin with. I should redo a lot of the lighting, because of how the lighting shouldn't end at the edges, but I made it seem like it does... MULTIPLE REVISIONS, GO. Well then... A couple of gradient maps here n' there just to make it look a little nicer and all. soooo chyea

I don't know why this has a C+ right now. I love this anime. It is filled with so much emotion and creativity that I found myself so attached by the last episode, I was crying alongside the characters. Personally, I love this wall. I think the shading is perfect. The scenery in the background fits and it's nicely done. The colors used match the feeling of the character. I also really like how the light is reflecting off of the water. Overall it's just a great piece of work. Nice job ^-^

there are some edge tear issues with the extraction of her hair. ie. lots of jagged edges. also posting the original scan up goes a long way.

Mhm.. i see what you're talking about, but its not caused by the extraction. Unfortunately I cannot find the original scan, sorry about that, but i just recently found a vector of the image, hopefully I can get rid of some of the jagged edges since it might partially be an extraction problem

The background would be looking good, but the white cloud in the center obstructs the sunset scenery a lot, and it's also very dark everywhere outside of that area. If there could be seen more of the lake and the sky, it'd look a lot better. The character could be adjusted to fit in more as well. Nice wallpaper though.

Thing is, that's not a cloud, it's the sky.. I should fix that. Since it's a sunset the clouds should be a dark blue, contrasted with a lot of brightness.. because of the.. sun? I'll see if i can create a sky that looks realistic enough for something like this, I guarantee nothing though

This Misuzu wallpaper is gray. Background with good, the scenery is beautiful, is the color a bit melancholy gloomy. The AIR story is sad, plus the background more sad.
