Ughhh The uploader made me upload this again because it sent me back to the submission categories thing.
This was more me just playing around in photoshop. I learned stuff about textures thats for sure. There's really not much to say. The background is completely from scratch A bunch of lighting was added. Will be adding a textless version soon because the text looks really meh in this and there's really no good place to put text.
The paper that's pinned up... the text on it is from random text generator.. (hey.. im not typing all that out just for a small part on a wallpaper..)

Nice work on the background, love the alignment of the text to go along with it! Window has perhaps a weird thick frame around it but otherwise great work!

Thanks, and I think the thing that i missed out mainly is that the window is extremely large, considering that most windows are small and connected to one another, as well as the framing is white and protrudes out so there should also be a shadow to it

It's usually just playing around with Levels, Gradient Maps, and Hue in Photoshop. I often make the dominant color even more.. dominant and make the colors contrast more so parts (mainly the character) pop out more than other sections.

I don't think that the background doesn't blend in with the character picture. Also, the window looks kind of odd. Sort of like a picture frame rather than an actual window. Maybe it's the angle of the clouds in the sky. Just my opinion though.

simple, clean and nice. Window could be a lil better, and by that i mean the scenery and the wooden frame. Really like the idea of room, little note and bleachy effect ^_^
