Wow is its been a while since I posted anything on this site. Well its good to be back it!
Overall this wall is pretty simple. The picture I used in this wall was actually from a google search for FLCL characters...but it was really small and low quality. So I decided to print it out and sketch it. After I thought, hey this would look better if I scanned it in and edited it...hence I did. Eventually I decided to make a wall out of it. Initally I wanted to vector my sketch...but I then decided to just make the lines bolder because vectoring seems to remove the sketch effect from the image, and it takes a long time:P.
The background was actually the hardest part of making this wall. I tried countless designs and layouts and none of them worked, then eventually I decided just to keep it simple and uses basic shapes to come up with a workable layout. The colour scheme was also an issue...I wanted to uses many bold colours but I decided to stick to a basic colour scheme of white, black, and gray.

yes, the gray isn't the most complimentary, definitely needs some color on the scan. overall the composition is good, it's simple but nice. make sure to save for web at 70% quality (in case you didn't), there seems to be quite a few artifacts on the scan. overall it's a nice wp though :)
