Finally - my 1st VectaDesu entry! :-D I pulled this off after much visual research... This was done using Illustrator CS5 - mainly gradients & transparency effects. I changed the colors from the original because I didn't like Kyou's shirt... I also added fingernails, light reflecting on the sunglasses & a little bit of blush. I removed a heart from each shoe - I would buy these shoes if I see them on a store but only if they have 1 heart :-P I hope everyone likes it...Here is the link to the original image.

WOW! It's very colorful and beautiful, good work on this. It really has some POP to it, better than the original scan in fact. The various color changes around the image work well I think. Some parts have maybe a bit too much shininess though, they look just a bit too plasticy. Anyways good luck on your first VD entry!

Good job for your first VectaDesu entry. The colouring is very vibrant and looks much more "alive" than the source scan. Gradients look great and Botan is damn cute =3. Now on to some parts that could use improvements. The lineart of the hair stands out a bit too much (and not in a good way). I think it may a bit too thick or too dark, I'm not sure. The lineart also seems to have an inconsistency between miter and bevel joints (quite noticeable in the hair). There also seems to be this odd piece of gradient by her left armpit, not sure what it is but you might want to clean that up. Other than that... good job and good luck!
Edit: Never mind that gradient piece is part of her shirt but you might want to add an outline for it since it looks odd at the current moment.

I can see that this is a totally new version of Kyou. Throughout the anime, she has been mainly illustrated as a semi-warfreak, but here, she is just another girl. No wait, she is a lovely girl. I love the colors, and how Botan is below. Great job doing this vector man! I love it! And could you do a Fuko vector for me? I love her, she's so cute and all. Thanks!
