Hey Guys! I made a wallpaper for Guilty Crown! Woohoo <3 As you can see the character in the Wall is Ouma Shu, i liked this image very much and wanted to use it. In total i spent 5 hours on this Wall. One of the billboards in the back says: Guilty Crown. I did i alot of other little adjustments on the background and shu that are not that easy to see. But what would you expect for 5 hours of work xP Revision 2 doesn't have the striped overlay on it.

At a glance, the wallpaper definitely caught my attention. A dark, urban, industrial setting really sets the mood for this piece. Unfortunately, upon full view a couple things struck me as odd (especially revision 1). The character and background do not blend well together. Many factors contribute to this but the most obvious is difference in lighting between Shu and the rest of the wallpaper. While the backdrop is dark with a bluish hue, Shu seems to be illuminated be a totally different light source; one that is not present in the current surroundings. His sharpness is also an odd contrast to the rest of the not-so-focused background. In some wallpapers this works well to highlight the main focus but in this case, the contrast is much too obvious he feels like a separate entity. The "Guilty Crown" text while well placed is still too sharp and could use some blur to blend better with its surroundings.
Revision 2 is what I'd consider... interesting. Even with the flaws revision 1 holds, revision 2 seems to cleverly rectify all these problems with a simple striped overlay. The awkward blending suddenly becomes a lot less noticeable. If I had never seen revision 1, most of the previously mentioned issues would've likely slipped pass me (what kind of sorcery is this?!).

My opinion is pretty much the same as Vestigel's but I have to say that Shu is looking somewhat pleased, like he's saying ( I'm doing what i have to and it's right), but his anime character is that of the confused and depressed guy who didn't know what to do until the end and lost nearly everything that's precious to him , so that serious but pleased look doesn't fit him well. (maybe change his face just a little, especially his lips (they give off a strange feeling))
