I started this about.. a year ago. Been working on and off. Guilty of getting lazy towards the end (the cards.. ahem)
Had an urge to fuse Miwa Shirow's work with the style of Shikimi (pixiv artist) and yeahh. I dunno, I'm just glad to have finished this. My last submission was ages ago and a lot of things have happened between it.
Ummm yep.

I quite like this wall, however there are some points that could definitely be addressed.
You've done really well keeping the perspective looking natural, I like your vectoring of Alice and the Tweedle brothers. The colours are nicely muted with your use of pastel shades. Your shading is lovely, though I would have liked to have seen some brighter highlights to give them a little more life.
However, the single tone background lends nothing to the wall, there's no sense of perspective which even a simple gradient could have provided.
The cards' perspectives, again, are really well done, they look natural the way are placed. I can imagine them fluttering to the ground from having been flicked in the air. However, as you stated, the lack of attention to detail detracts from the overall look of the wall.
I feel that a little more effort would have taken a wall that has great potential and made it a really awesome wall.

Thanks for the great input! I think the gradient would the last thing I would add to this wall though. It's something that's not found in the shading nor anywhere else, so it'll probably be really odd and stick out.

Love the concept! The cards and the cute writing on them! Did you put them in all yourself? They are really well placed and angled! That's excellent foreground work!

I like color concept on this one,and the shading...but the background is too flat,I think adding some texture would make it more attractive, also, there should be a shadow of them on the ground too...
The cards are kinda disturbing to me,everything is precise, except for the letters and symbols on them,so they seem kinda out of place..I also think that there's too much of them, they kinda destroy my focus on the characters, which are more pleasant to look at...maybe you could have blurred them a bit,or added motion blur to some edges of them?I think they would look more natural that way..

I like the style you used, is a good concept, the colors seem appropriate and very nice, but what makes me worried is the lineart of the characters, I think you need more detail it.
You need more attention, the fund is that it is very simple to use just one color, maybe a simple background like grass with flowers or a kind of emptiness with dark colors denoting depth and more cards.
But your idea in general I like, I like you had in mind my advice, so you can make a unique wall because I'm interested in what you can achieve with it. I wish you best of luck.

Meh at everybody saying that this needs more shading. It does not imo, it looks stylish and it's a good mimic of Shikimi's artstyle.
I adorbs this <3

Love the clean and pure vector style. For my taste your wall looks better than the original scan. Excellent wall.
