Fate Stay Night King of Heroes

FInally, I waited for somebody to make a wallpaper from this screenshot since the first episode of Fate/Zero. So frist, thank you. Second, the painting style looks wonderful. The skin tone of Gilgamesh, the shadows, his hair. It looks all very natural and warm. The hair of his pussy-cat looks also very wild and stunning, I love brush strokes, they are so dynamic and they look detailed in numbers. The perspective is neat, hmmm the BG is fine, maybe it's that strong blue. that I don't like in any night skies, a more personal thing. I think you chose the right degree of transparency. Not too much and not too less, the golden middle. Well I'm looking desperatly for something that needs adjustment, but I can't find anything. Thank you again, I wish you a nice walling hiatus. This wallpaper is totally faved!

The skin is AMAZING Ash! Kudos for that! I really like this, especially the way its painted. You mention Tsu as your inspiration, but I'm glad you were able to develop your own paint style. Tsu's closer to oil painting, your looks like a mix of watercolour and acrylics. Now I'm curious about SAI, I might need to try it :3

Two things though: I think you might have overdone the dust dots, it looks like there are way too many of them and they are pretty bright too, which makes the wall just a bit cluttered. Maybe lower their oppacity? And the outlines of the eyelashes might be too black, the contrast between them and the predominant colour palette is rather striking. I wished it was a darker shade of brown instead. But then again, that's just me.

Aside that, this is so beautiful Ash. Well done!

Yeah, I always wished for a good Gilgamesh-Wallpaper. Thank you for your great work! The coloring is really god and I like the position of the him. Just the stars are irritating, because there so much of them. Maybe you can make a reversion without them? And also with pailer colors? Like the screen was, it has something of a desert-feeling, what really matches to gilgamesh. You'll be my hero, if you'd do it.

But seriously, the concept as well is very well done. I love the vibrance of the colors and how they blend together. TBH, I also like roughly made paintings such as this. Seeing the strokes really shows the emotion/feeling that you put while doing this particular wall----------did I just say that? LOL. The shadows and highlights are very spot on and look better than the original one. The star BG actually reminds me of constellations. :D And since the character is blended as well with the starry BG, my first impression was that you were portraying someone from the constellations. ^^v

Well now this is different from you! It's nice to see you experimenting with different things. :D I know I tried SAI once too, and while I liked some of its smooth brush effects, it definitely lacked some of my favorite layer blending modes and compound masking techniques I spam in ps, so it felt limited to me (I don't think I could create a wall entirely in SAI in this case), but if you like SAI, by all means continue making more stuff with it! :D I feel his hair could use some supplemental purple shadows (it's much too red right now) and the lion needs claws and the white fuzz on his paw (or it looks kinda human-like)! Also, your gif is way too fast, making it hard to view the images and read the text at the same time. @.@ Try slightly increasing the timing between frames in ImageReady (or wherever you made it). :3

This wallpaper is amazing cause not only is it from a great series it's an amazing wall and has a making of gif too. triple awesome! Love the amazing star background the best!

I LOVE the star type stuff in the foreground! It looks really cool like you've got sparkles in his lion hair! The deep colors and painted result look really good! Look the way the gold elements look, nice deep colors and good work on the face too!

A long-awaited Eiyuu no Ou Wallpaper! A very good wallpaper of Gilgamesh from his legend. I also very know this scene from the ending "MEMORIA" of FATE ZERO season 1. I'm a fans. So i'm really fascinated by this wallpaper. What i love the most is that you succesfully maintained that haugty look on his face.

I love how the lion's fur looks! Also, how do you get tapered strokes in SAI?

Like a painting work so impressive it was displayed at one of the world's greatest museums... displaying the power and magnificence the King of Heroes has.

Transcending the timeline, he is now also the King of Heroes in this Universe, not only of Earth.

A work truly deserving to be applauded. +1 for you and keep it up.

Ha ha, glorious! It was a great idea to use a painting style, it's is perfectly fitting for this scene, and for,Gil in general. I also like the lion's fur, the details and its colors are stunning, it looks really awesome, Gil's hair is a little bit blocky for me though, it would look better with a few more strands in my opinion but other than that this is an awesome wall. Fav!
