The bg is a little too realistic for the scan and the shadowing is weird, but a nice first entry. ^^ This looks like it could be part of a game. ^^

A nice first wallpaper, though as mentioned, the character seems way out of place considering its from an anime (ghost in a shell if I had to guess?) and the background, which is fairly realistic..y.

Though the shadowing is very nicely done and accurate (though I can't tell what that is in her right hand).

maaaaaaaassive props for the effort, man. For a first this is tremendous. You had a overall goal and went with it, something many first time wallers fail to possess. It could use some work in some areas (mainly the sparse terrain) but overall, for a first, this is great. Keep up the good work - I'm looking forward to what you have to offer in the future!

This one instantly stole my attention. :) Considering it's your first wallpaper, I must say, it's very, very impressive for a first-timer. Hmm.. the rendered landscape looks a bit too realistic compared to the scan, and the buildings look as if they were floating on a thick layer of fog (or the fog was actually aren't opaque enough to hide the intersection between ground horizon line and the buildings' bases). And I think the shooting star in the middle is kinda,... random..? ^_^' Nevertheless, it's a wonderful concept. I can 'feel' the 'action' going on in this wallpaper. I find the angle and composition in this wallpaper to be the most interesting aspects. All in all, great job. I hope to see more from you.

This version looks much better. The lights you added were a good touch. It now makes the buildings looks real and not like some building blocks.

Cool wallpaper, but you should of made her bigger. However the background looks too 3rd and realistic to match the scan so you should of chosen a better background. Ghost in the Shell is an excellent anime by the way.

As others have stated, the character is kind of off. She stands out too much. You did great with the scenery and the copters. Even the shadow looks good.

I really like the idea for this wallpaper! The execution might not be the best, since it is your first work, but the idea is really good. The angle and the way the scan is position is great, I wish the scan had blended better with the background, but overall, it's a good wallpaper! Thanks for sharing!

I like this. It's got enough tilt to be a little offsetting, and the gunning down of Motoko sets the viewer off-balance.

It contains an action that doesn't need any blur-lines or other trickery. =)

As well, the color scheme is limited to contain a dreariness, a dismal quality that suggests there are no alternatives to what is currently happening. It leaves the viewer wondering.

ohh, three dee. its kinda pretty, you made a very nice effort with this. the shadows are a bit out, but its not really bad. very good try.

individually speaking, great job with the 3-D objects in the bkg- the reality feel is a great addition to this wal- but some of them also seem out of place. overall though I love how you mixed the 3-Ds with the 2-Ds.

mmm, a wall with some action, not so common the perspective used is fun that bridge in the background seems a bit out of place to me, it sticks out somehow also the buildings look like geometrical figures, no windows and such... just take a peek at the recent highlighted wall

This is brilliant! I like it how you combined the image of Motoko with the attack helicopters to make this pic. It's a bit on the grey side for my taste but I guess that is the intention with this wallpaper.

Excellent effort. Only suggestion I would make would be bring the background up to the detail level of the scan of Motoko.

it's a plain wall and i like that about it, it suits the scene in the image and the way the wall is angled and the heli is flying horizontal makes it more dynamic

The bg fits very well with the character running. It's really nice of bg and character. Wonderful wall.... really gives that fighting look and feel.

Great wall, love how you added the choppers and the backdrop. Admittingly, it does seem rather thrown together though, with the major's pose, the gunfire and bullets... and the landscape is pretty bland.

But, for a first attempt, it's amazing. Great work!

I like the concept that Motoko is running from helicopters however, with her running out in the open like that, she is going to get herself killed. That bullets ripping through the ground look too cgi however. I think this picture would have been better if she was running on the roof of a building however.

I find your work inherently beautiful due to the stillness of the city, an absence of humankind and a subsequent timelessness enhanced by the immortality of the protagonist.
