Oh my. I browsed through the very detailed process of your work. It is hands down sheer talent and genius. Your comment on "...didn't want to make a scan to wall" and challenging yourself is absolutely commendable. I especially like the way you drew a new set of clothes for the character. And how you decided to stray away from the heavy lines of the orignal's and used your lines only as basis for the colors you will put down. The details in the background are enough to make the viewer look into it but not distracting enough to overpower the focus of your art work, the model. Everything else, the lighting, the shades, the colors, everything is pure talent and skill.

You finished this in three days, in your spare time... Life is so unfair!

The painting itself is gorgeous; I like that you skipped the idea of reproducing everything as it was originally, and created something of your own; to tell you te truth, if I hadn't seen the scan, I'd say you did it from the start. Both versions are great!

I like how you changed her appearance, making the Queen, not the King )); the dress turned out just brilliantly, so the sword and the rest of her outfit;

I also like the design of the surrounding, especially the lightning/shading and the mix of colours to create gloomy yet very charming atmosphere.

Somehow, the entire wall 'flavour' reminds me a style of illustrations to the Umineko no naku koro ni novel - except the thing here's no butterflies/however at first I though those lights were them/.

To make long story short, +fav + my desktop and thanks for sharing it with us to feast our eyes!

This is just like a painting on canvas and I just love it. The colours are beautiful and I like the outcome after you've changed the scan. Well, you did everything from scratch and it is amazing, from the details of the dress to the sword.

The combination of textures and colours are beautiful. The addition of lighting makes the wall looks calm and warm. Both versions are equally beautiful. Besides, watched the process of the making of this wallie and I managed to learn a thing or two. XD Thanks for sharing it with us.

This is very lovely! I think I would have liked the warmer one even better, but this is nice: The light, especially on her face makes me think it's perhaps moonlight spilling in. :) In fact, the whole thing has a splendid low-key glow to it! Another warm-up wall! I really wanted to just wall Iskandar/Rider but I am so out of practice it would probably turn out horribly .-. OMG! This is just about one of the most beautiful wallpapers I've ever seen ^_^

Every part of it flows together perfectly, creating a great dark atmosphere. Great painting, the skin is done absolutely perfectly! The monochrome factor with blue is as always a pure win! When I saw the original scan I almost fell off my chair. I cannot stress enough about how I love this wallpaper and the great feeling it exhibits! Saved and put immediately as background. Excellent work :3

I really like this kind of style , looks like a painting. background is well detailed and I like the mixture of colours. Anyway, it has one of the best background I ever seen. However, the body of the girl seems a bit strange <<< is anyone else think so ?? ,, btw, where is the other leg?? I cannt really find it .

This wallpaper is so beautiful, just looking at it makes me want to watch the anime. I also love how you put two revisions, one of warmer and cooler colors. Looking forward to seeing more work by you.
