Sailor Moon from episode 045, looking sad cause her friends are dead and their spirits tell her to carry on cause they will always be with her. One of my favourite scenes. I try making backrounds as simple as possible so i can focus on the actual person. I used soft colours on both sketch and backround so i can show how i feel each time i think about this scene.

this is making me wanna cry all dramatically all over the place

If just you put solid colors instead is better than poor gradient execution. keeping it simple is just horrible excuse for laziness to do the background. Also please take the advice of @akiranyo and @filo05 who commented of your other wall. They're senior members and they know what they're talking about.

I would like to advice you to search for the style that you like and DEVELOP YOUR OWN IDEAS from there. However DO NOT COPY them directly, just making a few changes is also not accepted.

Basically I cannot say anything else what I already said by your two submissions already. They need serious improvements in quality.

To show a example, this wallpaper was created 5 years ago, when the walling techniqes where much less developed, vectoring was in early stages, less rivality between pro wallers and the requirements of our users was much lower, and it still beats any of your wallpapers by a few leagues. I would not mind to put it on my desktop even now, which I cannot say by your submissions.

I don't copy anything, this is my way, and style of doing a wallpeper. If i wanted a more round paper i would create one. If i wanted a synthetic and complicated backround i would have made one. I am an artist and this is my style of doing things. I like square things, i like 1-2 colour backround, i like square vector lines. All my vectors are made pixel by pixel, the fact it seems simple doesn't mean it is one. We just have different point of views in what art is, and different tastes. This is my taste.

Yes, it could be your taste. But even with just gradients you could make a better background, like you can also make an simple background, that looks unique and fantastic. However this is just low quality and hasn't anything to do with your style. I like simple and structured style wallpapers too (wich doesn't mean, that I don't like the ones with much details^^), its just that you didn't make something special of your style. Putting some gradients behind a vector isn't much work and first of all not the work of an artist. I'm sorry to say that, but that's the kinda sad fact. Try out something new with your style. I'm sure you will find out some things, when you experiment a bit. Please trust me, you can held your style, but make more of it.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA are you serious? or are you a troll? because I'm really starting to think that. Look we're not attacking you or anything, we're giving you advice of how things work in this page. This is a reply for all the comments of all your walls: "em,i didn't submit my papers to get praised nor to be judged." ok first of all, we do not do wallpapers for that purpouse. We do them because we like art and anime, so we combine them. We do walls of characters or art that we like, and we share with other people here. I use my own wallpapers from time to time (I use other people walls because I like them better than mine xD). BUT this page is recognised for its quality. There are people who works for hours and hours (even days) in something because they want to make something that they'll like and that other people will like and use.

We know enough about art making in general and digital tools to tell that you could've done this in barely 30 min. It's something that could be better and keep your style. You could really be better, you have the potential. About the resolution, you're forgetting the main purpouse of this page, and that is SHARE. If you say "resolution is my pc's resolution and i like it this way" you're are being selfish and egocentric, other people might want to use your wallpaper, but if they have a bigger resolution they won't be able to.

Again put more details in your description. What specific tools you used, how much time did you spent doing it, the original picture that you used. Things like that, so we can see what did you actually do to make the wall. Please just take the advice, we want to help. (and with that I finish the longest comment that I've made hahahaha)

I joined this website for the sole reason of telling you people that you are all incredibly rude.

If any of you people are REALLY experienced in digital art, you should remember what it's like when you're first starting. I spend hours or days on things that may not look better than this. After reading everything you've said, there's no way I'd ever upload any of my works here. Art isn't supposed to be a form of judgment. Just because YOU could make this exact image in thirty minutes doesn't mean someone else can, and if you honestly believe they can, you're an even bigger idiot than what you already look like by slamming something that someone else worked hard on.

Furthermore, the person's signature doesn't bother me either. I watermark my entire image because I've had my works stolen and uploaded to other websites. Trying to make sure other people aren't making money off your design isn't a crime.

EDIT: And this looks fine on my screen resolution. Just saying.

Please tell me that you're not the guy that submitted this wall using another account. If you're not, then let me tell you a few things: If you just joined the site to tell us that, then that's sad, and I mean REALLY sad. We know what being a beginner is like, that's why when we saw one of this walls we tried to give advice in a good way (btw don't confuse pointing out facts that are real, because yeah reality can be harsh, with plain rudeness, we're more than that) but the waller answered in a bad manner.

Of course art is subjective, anyone can give a different interpretation of it, BUT, there's a difference between styles and quality in art. Tell me: what do you know about composition, perspectives and color theory?(these three are the most BASIC concepts in art) if you can't see tell a certain style art of bad quality art then you really can't defend your point.

About the signature: well if you seriously watermark the WHOLE wall then you're completely disrespectful to other people (not to mention you're ruining the piece you worked hard to make), such a big signature is bothersome.

Yeah, it looks good on YOUR screen resolution so lets ignore people who have bigger resolutions and want to have the wall on their desktops (oh, the sarcasm)

Also, we're not as half as rude other people are in other sites, welcome to the internet.

Now, if you just joined the site, you should explore it more. We're not bad people, we love both art and anime, that's why we, who works hours, days and even months, to do a wall feel that it's unfair (I guess) that people submit such walls here. What's more, that person IGNORES completely the advice we're trying to give.

I guess that's all :3 (I'll never check this walls again, or I'll be giving responses for all eternity D:)
