Hello anime lovers,
This is my second vector that I have done which is another close up of my favorite character chi from chobits. Not to long ago, I just finished watching chobits that right there and then, I wanted to vector chi because I felt in love with the show. It took forever in order to get the right screen shot of chi not that all the screen shot that I took wasn't that bad since chi is freaking adorable all the time. That I decided to do this one because it look for me very serene. The program that I used was paint tool sai and PhotoShop cs5 (which I only used it for adding the lens flare). This piece took forever to accomplish because I added new things to this piece that the actually screen shot didn't had like I made it more brighter, more high lights, detail in the eyes, and most importantly the thing that took forever to get it finish was adding lines to the hair. I hope you all enjoy this piece as much as I do and please leave me any feedback in regard to this piece.
P.s. please leave me any feedback if I need to improve this piece I would appreciated so much so I could get better in the future. Thanks and enjoy!!:)

I like this, it's clean. It'll look good as a poster! :D Though the colors seems a bit too vibrant.

When the wall consists of only a vectored close up of the character, it's best if there's more details. Background should give some context..but I guess this background is decent, it kind of emphasizes her emotions. So basically simply vectoring from a screenshot/scan is not enough when it's a close up. It needs much more layers/shades to make it interesting. ExampleI see that you tried to add details by the white lines in her hair, it's a nice start but not convincing enough. Check you sjade1 and Nysha's works. You'll see that in their vectoring/painting they use more than one layer/colour overlayed on top of others to give more detail to the work. Also it's a good idea to vary the thickness of your outlines , see tutorial here: http://missnysha.deviantart.com/art/The-Ultimate-Vectoring-Guide-129303185 sometimes colouring the outlines works too.
example, see there a few more layers set at different opacity/blending and lines with different colours makes it more interesting that simple black outline + basic colouring. I think that this definitely have huge room for improvement C: just practice and don't be afraid to experiment with different colours/effects/ways of vectoring, you may end up finding something that works very well for u.

Thank you for your tips, I really appreciate it a lot! I'm really glad that someone wrote to me of improving this piece because I'm kind of new in the vectoring world that I'm not sure wheather im doing things right or not, and people like your self are the reason why they get a lot better in what there doing. Thanks again! :)

^^ It's nice to see when new wallers are actually trying to learn more, :P since most old wallers are gone now. I hope to see your experiments and new works~

Brown colors in the wallpaper are drawing the bless of the sun and gorgeous attractiveness in the sun's princess.
