THIS IS HOW I ROLL!!
Done using photoshop. Took me about an hour or so. No brushes used. Textures can be found in deviant art.
Actually I'm not so sure about this one. But I would really love to hear what you think about this.

Hmmm... in short: typography yay!, appeal nay... D=
I think the fault lies in the background (though I can't exactly pin down which aspect of it). I wish I could expand more on this but I can't seem to think of anything at the moment... But, as with all your other wallpapers, I love the texture usage and your simplistic [/uncluttered] style. I am curious of how this would look with the alternate colour scheme of joab's vector (seing that it may blend with the background better). Anyways yay! I'm always looking forward to more of your works!

Flying to the sky! Flying to the freedom. Her pose with activity in the wallpaper is really realistic. Vector and colors in the wallpaper are very clean and clear.

When it comes to this wallie, the first thing that get my attention is the the typography. I like the arrangement of the wordings, as well as the colours which highlighted the word "Roll", from the use of light to bold gradient of colours. Great job on that, mecha.
Apart from the good use of texture, you managed to create a simple backgroud with the use of circles (don't tell me that you were affected by the polkadot afro mania. rofl). Good composition and placement of character. I can see your improvement in this one. XD
However, I am not that fond of the colour of the character. Perhaps revision 2 of Joab's vector suits the light coloured background better, together with some brushing to enhance the tone of the character.
Anyway, you've done a good job. Looking forward to see your next wallie!

the use of typography on this is quite poor compared to your previous works. it doesn't fit in and just seems like it was thrown on there. Instead of having it all on the left, maybe take the left blob off and try to include the typography in the background. But I'm not too sure :/ since the way the character is it goes okay with the polka dots, but anymore than that I feel it's kind of out of context. However with only polka dots the wall is too simple. maybe experiment with different patterns.
