I found this two pictures and I really like them so I decided to put them together because I thought they might express themselves better. I used some texture and I tried to emphasize the red, but I didn't want to use too many effects. The quotation is from the opening "My dearest" that I really love. Hope you like it, I'll try to do it better next time ~

hmm, when using a scan as part of a wallpaper without repainting or vectoring, you should always try to pick ones with better quality, ones that look clean and crisp in full view. The images here, I'm not sure if it's because of the overlaying effects or original picture, but the characters are not clear. And it's very obvious that they are not even from the preview. Next, I feel that the gray background is just slapped onto the wall, then overlayed or something over the characters to make them blend :/ it feels like a layer of smog was added on top of the characters. If your goal was to make the characters less visible so the red strings stand out, I suggest changing the saturation of the characters to monochrome and use a more red red on the strings. Looking into brushes to add to the background is also a good idea.

Thank you very much for your comments! I used these two pictures http://www.animepaper.net/art/222023/guilty-crown-picture and http://www.animepaper.net/art/222529/guilty-crown-ending-single-scan, maybe the quality is not the best as you said but that's what I liked! For the background I used the original colour and then I added a texture. At first it didn't cover the "two Inori" but then I realized that if they were too clear I didn't like them D: And I noticed that it could be a nice idea to change the saturation to emphasize the red on the strings but when I did it I changed my mind. The point is that, as you suggested, there were a lot of way in which I could did it better but when I tried something I didn't like it :3 That's my problem, anyway next time I'll try with another kind of image ;D
