just uploading for fun xD wall from 120 war a long time ago ;w; gosh I miss those wars ): keep on missing them tooRound 7.5

anyways, It's just how it was whatever year that war was in, didn't edit or finish or nothing ^^ like said just uploading for fun.

V.1 was done in exactly 2 hours O: V.2 I think I painted over after a while? I'm not even sure ;;

Oh, excellent! Love the more vibrant and detailed painted version 2. Much more dimensional than the flatter scan (especially the hair). 8D And the bamboo too! The green goes well with the overall color scheme, which is very refreshing. Great to see some more quality walls being submitted. :D

Very good color coordination on this piece. The blues and greens in the general overtone are very nice, and the bit of contrasting red doesn't clash at all.

OMG! Also <3 version 2! Although for me the bamboo not as detail as her hair overall. But i just like the colour, really vibrant as `Nysha already said. At last I can see a good quality wall around here

Seriously, this is Tenshi?

Stunningly sexy and pretty! Based from the colors applied, it looks multi-dimensional. And I like the bamboo grove background... though I wonder how she landed to this place from Bhava-Agra and not somewhere else. It's better if she landed on Hakurei Shrine or a lake, if it's her. And then, I'd see to it that she'll be given more love than what I gave her before. +1

Now wonders where in Bhava-Agra did the sword of Hisou went... She's only in a rock.

hmm sorry but since this was from so long ago I really don't have any step by step o.o but I can tell you what I did..if I remember correctly xD :

Place scan randomly on the page o.o rotate and more rotate until I'm satisfied.
Extraction x.x
Block in background with general lighting/colours
Did the rough bamboos in the back
I believe I overlayed some colours from the background onto the character to make her fit in more?
paints over character with occasional layers here and there with effects to get the lighting I wanted o.o

As mentioned this is a quality wall- i especially like the technical aspect and what you were shooting for with the bamboo bg. I have 2 issues- first colour control: the shading of her clothing although similar to the scan looks outrageous- the colors clash. 2nd- using a proper brush for the bamboo leaves would have been ideal. the brush strokes look like strokes not leaves. i can appreciate that this was a 120 minute wall but a few modifications would have kicked it up a notch.

Like I said, this was uploaded for fun and incomplete ^^ If I was to complete this wall I would have no doubt repainted the bamboo and fixed some lighting on the character itself.

but probably not the colour clash that you mentioned, since personally I love the combination of blue with orange and what not ^^ and I think it adds spice to the piece

V2 is my fav version and the painting details are more vibrant and stand out compared to V1. Nice choice of background theme to go along with the character.

Wow this wall brings the heavy and more vibrant colors than the version 1. Love how her hair color is so blue and the way you vector is awesome with those heavy shadings and how sharp and clean it is. The bamboo is just right letting the character give more focus. Overall another high quality wall from you! +fav! ^^,

I like the scenery of the wallpaper, it looks very fresh XD But the color of the dress is too overlay blue. It attacks my eyes xD Maybe a paler blue could be a lot better. Anyway god job!
