I wanted to make a summer looking wall, I played around with the lighting and wanted to make it look sunny with clouds, I learned some new techniques along the way! It was cool to try make sun rays, I think my next wall will be even better now! Enjoy the summer guys and girls!

The wallpaper isn't terrible, but it's not that great honestly. I hope you don't take offense but, this wallpaper is just like a ton of other ones that have been basically mass created and posted onto AP lately - Characters that look like they've been "soft lighted" 50x, randomly colored, and pasted against almost non-existent backgrounds. I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who's been thinking this.

Your background is extremely hard to see, and is almost all one color. From the little bit I can make out, it looks like very, very light clouds, which don't really evoke "summer" to me. The image you picked has so much potential for some great summer wallpapers, but I just can't think of summer at all looking at this. Your wallpaper also doesn't stick out at all, or is particularly memorable, against all of the other wallpapers like this that have been making up the vast majority of new wallpapers.

If you want to stick with the cloud, sun rays, and lighting theme, you should try to add a little more to the background and make an actual background scene (I can barely even see the bg at the highest resolution). You could have clouds in the sky with the sun breaking through, or something like that. Or even try to get the clouds to stick out more.

Again, please don't take offense! I like a few of your older wallpapers where you took the time to create an actual scene for the background, and I'd like to see some more nice ones from you, instead of these clone wallpapers.

I don't know how to put it into words, but I absolutely love it. It's a shame here we have "real" summer of only 2-3 days and it's back to typical warm muggy weather. I'll enjoy this wall while summer is still here.
