In certain ways, I like it more as the colored version, now it has a better depth. One thing though, you used quite a big vector, so no clue why you stopped on a middle sized resolution like that. I have a 24" LED screen and is not the real deal as by a 1920x1200/1920x1080 would be. Also I'm pretty sure you could find a better text, as something so boring as her name, like some quote or related sentence, decorating it in a similar way as the character could make it a outstanding piece.

Awesome! The contrast here is really good, and the monochromatic scale with the blue really gets a good melancholy feeling to the piece.

Fantastique! Magnifique! I just love the overall feeling and balance in this wallpaper. That blue really enhances the monochromatic effect and makes it so much more interesting. If I where to describe it with three words it would be cool, clean and stylish - just the kind of wallpapers I like! There is one thing however that I don't like... There is no 1080p version T____T

you have done a great job. you change the background color from a shine to dark. This arrangement is wonderful, because you give the vector and the wall a new life. Also, you choose blue color for the main color, l love it so much ,because i am the big fans of blue^^

Actually I rather like the text and I love the color change (I always have a thing for monochromatic with a splash of color but that concept tend to get boring and overused after a while). I like that you used blue that matches the butterfly. It's one of the element that I find attractive about her (it's her unique factor). I adore the composition and the texture you used and that weird abstract thing you got all over her. I stupidly tried to make sense of that thing ._.

I really love Sena and like very much of your wall, I think the monochrome was a good choice but mainly because you've done a really good job on the wall, the blue color to contrast with the all wall it's very good.. Wonderful choice for the color changes. I'm a fan of minimal palettes and I especially love the old gray + 1 bright color trick. nicely done.

If I have to point something out, though, it that the decorative... things around the character look like they were roughly extracted. everything else looks top notch so this tiny little detail really stands out. other than that, this is some really good stuff and I'm happy it got into today's top walls. well deserved.

Give yourself a pat on the back for this one, you're already better than I was when I was just starting. Keep this up and you'll be going places! (keep your feet planted firmly on the ground, though.)

Great work. I for one am allso a big fan of grayscale with 1 effect colour, though I like red most your blue/teal works really well. From preview I though background was completely black so I was pleasantly suprised from details you put on background. I do think that decarations around cute Sena-chan are really really nice in desing, but as it was allready pointed out I do notice jaggedness in them. Other than that arrangement is pretty nice and I think you kept it simple enough not trying to put too much stuff on screen.

It s kinda funny to notice how chance in colours makes expression of Sena so much diffrent from kinda embarased and shy of an original to more of a questioning. I really feel like she is waiting for an answer from me with is pretty cool.

Anyways without any more useless ramble. Thank you for this wallpaper and wonderfull work. I'm really looking forward to seeing some more works from you.

Awesome wallpaper! I'm glad you used one of my vector to create this artistic esthetic wall, and I especially like the choice of colours (this blue is so vivid and beautiiful!!!) Congrats!!! Added a s fav, of course!

I would say vector is quite pretty choice with a nice perspective, I didn't watched that series but saw character earlier and I like her design. May be one of prettiest Cilou vector I saw, but enough on that, just gonna leave it on "nice choice". Now, your manipulation on that vector's colors is done really well and you didn't left any weird color artifacts behind. That's not always easy so good job on that, and your choice of deep blue fits quite well. The background effect you made fits image nicely and also fits color well. Style of it is nice, although on higher resolution I can see some bugs in it. Not really sure how you made it, I would guess it was some weird brush, but I think it was suppose to be used smaller hence some parts look like low quality. The fact that BG is black with some small grudge undertone doesn't bother me, although I think you could have make some more creative way to connect it to text (I can see text works kinda like mask for it, maybe some parts could be visible in some nice way, dunno), and perhaps you typography could be a bit better (mostly font choice).

In the end through, it's your first wallpaper, and you done much better that most other people that are new to walling with their first wall. It's obvious you have a good sense of style and color, and with some experience you'll be making some solid walls for us.

Very detailed work.

Destruction is always good in my book. What makes this wall stand out a lot is all the reflective lighting and texture. I can feel around the mecha and imagine it how it would feel like. The fire feels alive and all the embers scattering through the air. The cord hanging on the shoulder was a nice touch.

Stronger fire lighting would make the wall stand out more. It feels like it's too drowned in within all the debris and dust and it's hard to feel its intensity.

This is REALLY good for a first wall, I really mean it. ( my first wall was basically using at random photoshop brushes, it was awful xD) I love the changes of the vector, I really like the colors here. I would only like to point a few things(that maybe other people already said xD):

The text could be a lot better, the font is really plain for something that's being used to balance the composition of the wall. Also you could add some effects to it (it should be a little bigger) but trying to avoid colors (in this case) since the idea is that the character is the center of attention.

The things around her look like they were poorly extracted. Maybe using shape layer to extract them or vectoring them (if you don't know how to vector, there are a few vector groups here in AP that may help you :) also you can check some tutorials at deviantart ) When you make renders like this one you have to be extra careful to match the style of the character you're using.

Finally you could try blending this to the background, maybe using a little gradient to make the flowers(? that's what they look like to me haha) fade into the background, that would give a better effect of the perspective.
