Hi!
I really like the RG Veda design (and Clamp's generally) and I really like this scan of Ashura.![]()
I wanted to focus on Ashura, because I like his pose so much! I vectored all elements, made an extending of the tree. I added his sword too (and vectored), added some cherry blossoms and worked on the reflexion and the water effect. I finally emphasized the whole atmospher in playing with colors, contrast and lightning. I hope you'll like!

have you ever consider using texture? your backgrounds have very inorganic feel. i love the water though. And the reflection is nice. I love the translucent quality of the sword.

I honestly can't say enough good things about you walls, they are just good, and this one is no exception. I do think that, in this one, you might have mishandled the reflections and refractions in the water. The angle of the reflection, of the blade on the surface of the water seems too acute. The lighting is such that: if you want to maintain that kind of angle between the part of the blade above the surface, and the reflection on the surface, the observer shouldn't be able to see the part of the blade beneath the surface. If you are going to allow the observer to see the part of the blade below the surface, remember the light refracts in water. Sharply change the angle of the straight blade at the point of entry into the water, it looks more natural like that.
The reflection of the foot and anklet at the other end is a similar problem. As the observer, the lighting will not show me the anklet or the foot as you have them. The foot and anklet should appear, in the surface reflection, somewhat like they are above the water. You are presenting the reflection as something of a mirror inverse. If you have a small mirror (you can also use the screen of a cell phone) put a mark or some object on your finger with a distinctive feature facing outward. If you position yourself so as view the outward side of your finger and its reflection in the mirror, you will see that the two are not inverse as you have them in this wall. They are inverse opposite but only at the eye level of the water. In this wall the observer is outside and above the level of the water so the actual object and the reflection should appear similar. I hope this is useful. I just mentioned it because I thought the reflections looked a bit unnatural.

I really like the design and concept you created here. But I feel like you could've used more blue on this wall. It's kinda hard to tell what the bg is because everything is brownish. I didn't know she was lying under a tree until I downloaded the wallpaper xD Btw, very nice job on the water, I always suck at making ripples xD

It's a good wallpaper, but the reflection and refraction of the water does not correspond to the angles of the sword/tree and the woman. Nevertheless it's still beautiful and quite a good wallpaper. Thank you very much for sharing.

This wallpaper is really beautiful...I like a lot this wall is full of details and it gives a nice feeling... What I like the most about this wall are Ashura's eyes, they seem to glow in the dark... I think that the background suits very well the character and the flower petals make the atmosphere seem mysterious, the sword fits in the wallpaper well, I like the details on the sword...You have done a really nice work, I love this wallpaper...
Keep up the good work...^_^

A little too much leg for my liking, but otherwise very pretty wallpaper. It's pretty impressive how natural you made the sakura blossoms looks. I love the detail in the gold.
