Hello guys I helped make a wallpaper with my limited skill in Photoshop. I love Final Fantasy with all my body and did the nice stuff and added meteor-kun. Meteor-kun just wants to make friends by smashing his face into the whole planet, we made two flavors, meteor-kun in space having a good time and meteor-kun about to smash his cute face into the planet with fire. I hope you enjoy and do a download to it with a comment and then put a feedback into the comment hole thank you!

The Meteor in Final Fantasy 7 was misunderstood. It just wanted to do a kiss to the Earth. Meteor-kun is actually a pretty easygoing and chill individual.
This was actually a joke. I was painting as practice and then Bantam and Crim came up with all sorts of ideas for the wall. Bantam grabbed the wall and did things to it and it became a wallpaper with cute Meteor-kun in the back.
Thanks to @crimsoncyanide and @isshi for the feedback.

First comment for you genetically advanced bros. I like the cool and warm color schemes. I think it's pretty cool how just the change in background color changes the chromatic appearance of cloud and Tifa. Bantam's photoshop skills are top notch in this wall for sure. Meteor-chan definitely needs more love. Keep up the work.

I really like the one with the heat and fire, it looks funnier somehow especially with the face on the meteor lol. I gotta learn some fire effects like that, it's pretty cool.

you should probably ask Bantam about those effects; I just did the painting while he applied the awesome everthing

You lied to me. Here I was believe it was a custom art piece, and lo and behold it isn't. What else have you lied about!
So big props for not vectoring. I honestly have to say that vectoring is probably one of the worst introductions to anime wallpapers next to the Ipod concepts. It becomes a crutch in far too many situations, instead of simply being used as part of a tool in ones arsenal, It's been a breath of fresh air to see pieces that focus solely on rasterizing and painting to take more of a dominance than simply vectoring things. Which is probably why this wallpaper resonates with me so much. It's got a touch of the new, with a touch of the old merged together.
So first off, big props on what you did with Miwa's work. You kept the original style, but varied it nicely as well. This pops out at you a lot more and gives a colorful feel that the game had, as oppose to the more darker colors used in the original version. In terms of a conversion standpoint, I can't really say since everything from my perspective looks well done. Tifa's jelly arms weird me out slightly, but that's more to do with the original piece as oppose to something you could exactly modify. I can't stress how wonderful it is to see pops of vibrant colors and tones on this.
So the background is what I miss the most. Back in the days when it was all about taking your time to build atmospheric effects that were minimal, yet detailed in their own right. One look at both backgrounds and it's quite obvious that either someone who had first hand experience during that time worked on it, or someone who did plenty of research on older pieces. Personally speaking, I like the fire one the best in terms of detail. It's got that subtle ember look to it with those cool looking swirls. It actually reminds me a lot of this image except with a lesser focus on vibrancy and a stronger focus on simplism. The blue piece, however, ultimately gives it that real Final Fantasy 7 feel to it. With Meteor-kun there, it really reminds me of something that would be on a box art or a strategy guide. Everyone should take note of these backgrounds, as they are an extremely effective way to create a very stylish background while keeping it simplistic. It's just a shame that this sort of style has been lost over the years.
I really like this piece. It's a simple overall piece, but you can tell that two people who know their craft well worked on it, as it shows in the level of detailed refinement. Offering pops of color that don't detract from each other, and keeping things nice and clean while having an air of fun to them. I just wish more walls were like this, instead of being so competitive.

Sir I never lie. Didn't I tell you that the source was the problem with Tifa's arms? :D
This is great soviet comment. We shall bring forth the restoration of the raster empire.

@`Brosteb: I'm not going to give up my precious fav just yet. You guys will have to make another that is this good and threaten me again to get me to submit. @☆Bantam: You have a knack for being a part of collaborations that are enviable.
Nice work guys and proper tribute to crimsoncyanide and isshi for their part in guiding the two of you along. Kidding about the fav aside, the only reason that I am holding back is because team Bantam/Vampluva is the collaboration that I regret not fav'ing when they produced, "Internet Wallpaper Girl in Space." I am trying to find a way of expressing my appreciation of that collaboration belatedly without inflating Bantam's ego too much. No one has gotten my favorites badge twice, and I really do think that at some point, more soner than later, I should go back and award my favorites to team Bantam/Vampluva. If I decide to go back and award it to team Bantam/Vampluva and now to team Bantam/Brosteb, Bantam will have gotten the badge twice. Nice try Bantam, but I know what a cleaver boy you are, you came up with AP. XP
Team Bantam/Brosteb will have to do it one more time before I give up on "Internet Wallpaper Girl in Space."

Omg wut. Oh meteor-kun...XD I agree with Bantam about FF. Good times, good times. FF7 being the first one I played, and one that I replayed a few months ago, and still enjoyed as much as I ever have. It's great to see a tribute like this! I like the painting style - it's simple but expressive in the brush strokes. :3 Quite refreshing actually. And of course the glowing Bantam effects are spot-on as well. Bantam you should collab more often!

this isn't very accurate. where's the lightning and the pieces broken off meteor, huh huh??
and how could tifa and cloud be in space with it, huh huh?
why, you'd think this whole thing was just supposed to be some kind of joke.
oh, and your fire isn't very firey.
hmm... i need something else to complain about.... ummm... tifa's boobs are too pointy! yeah and cloud is too skinny, and, and, the stars are boring. and... umm....
whatever.
i like your stupid wall.

I didn't notice that you two were collabing on a wall. (cause I went into the SB straight away without checking out the latest walls XP)
For the bg, I like both, actually. The effect of the fire is good as I can see the effects for the heat and good use of colours. The blue version is calming with good use of blue gradients. X3 simple but yet you can see the efforts put in for the work.
Enough said for the Lazer and Kitten team. My support for you two. =)

I prefer the orange version :D I'm kinda bothered by Tifa's hand... it's incredibly huge, but I guess that's just the scan D: Anyway, nice and simple wallpaper :)

It never would have been a wallpaper if it weren't for bantam. lol thanks

Meteor-kun = win. 'nuff said.

They are so skinny, I fail to see muscles. Why would you make wall without real muscles my bros.
A bit dissapointed cause at first I thought it's kind of an original art, but then noticed category and found scan. In the end throught, it shows some nice work done on it, as scan style is quite rough, and the coloring you've done looks really good. I also like that lineart skills got that sharp and a bit rough feel to it. I see on many parts you had to bring out shapes out of darkened blocks, so generally I like how characters look and can tell it took some work. Also, while they are put against background like that, I'm glad colors you've chosen are not as dulled as on scan, cause it would definittely look awkward. I prefer blue version much more because fire effects on red one are not really that great, and the tone of blue color you chosen looks serene and goes along with everything perfectly.
Meteor-kun on bg also looks cool, and abnormally friendly, seeing as he's a meteor and potential cause of disaster it was a fun idea for bg. One thing I don't like, and it's something that just draws my focus everytime, is how different in style are eyes and mouth of Meteor-kun. If i could chose, I would prefer his eyes to be made in same style as mouth, cause then it wouldn't draw attention away from center of wall.
Still I guess it'e worth the slowclap
