Hello APers!
TL;DR incoming. I've been eyeing this scan for a while, because I liked this series' drawing style, and Sora above all. Most walls about her have different art style, or falls under the RATHER ecchi category. I still think of this one as artistic nudity, but that may be just me. I made an effort to make the lines a bit more acceptable compared to previous ones, hope its visible somewhat. I tried to make it less purple-ish than the original scan, but the night scenery didn't give me much space in that. I'm not too confident in my hoshizora-making abilities, so I just stole some from the internet! WAHAHA. About the title: It's connected to the myth that was mentioned in the series. Something about a chance to reborn in the lake behind the local shrine. (Lake pictured above)
And that's about it, I hope some of you will like this one.
Criticism is welcome as always.
Props to suemura for the awesome scan!

First off, in terms of anything that's usually scenic related, there's almost always some form of tutorial around or another. Like for example for a starry landscape I've messed around with this before. Even if you can't, I'm sure that members that are more experienced would be willing to help in some aspect or another perhaps!\
With that in mind, I'll get right into it. The scan itself is what I would consider more of the artistic sense. Her hair nicely covers her up, so while she's completely naked it doesn't strike me as simply naked to be naked. The artwork for the series was always one of the stand out features of it. It looks like you've gotten rid of the water droplets on her as well, so there definitely have been some changes made. I actually would of liked to see it with the water still kept on it, but there's also something about it that looks much better like that.
However, the background itself sadly does not work. One of the toughest things about using something from the internet is making sure that everything looks good at 100%. While the thumbnail itself actually looks pretty slick, the full sized image shows definite signs of what looks like enlargement. Especially with the starry sky and the water itself. Unfortunately, this also makes the image greatly stand out. It's sort of like with your Shizuku wallpaper, you've definitely got an eye for the scenes themselves but the characters seem to stand out on your pieces because of the quality of said character compared to the background itself. They're definitely pushing in the right direction, but they need that special refinement in order to fully realize that potential.
I'm really liking the fact that you're touching upon series that no one really walls. With your previous work and with this one. However, it also definitely shows that while you can also craft a scene that fits with the character and the series, the backgrounds themselves are what need that extra bit of TLC to go that extra distance. Keep working hard!

Excellent!! love the colors you used, especially the dark background which makes Sora chan stand out all the more, although the line between the water and the mountains are a bit unnatural

This is honestly pretty good for a scenic wall: composition-wise, it's balanced, and it's one of the few walls where night lighting is done properly. And I respect you for not slapping a full moon in the sky and sticking to only stars, it looks much more natural.
The only gripes I have are in regards to the background - specifically, it doesn't match the clarity of the scan. The stars look like they've been enlarged and have thus lost their clear quality, while the moutains are too blurred. If you're trying to draw attention to the girl, you don't need to blur the background here, since there's already significant contrast between her and the other elements of the wall. To blend the girl in with the water more, I'd recommend showing a bit of her legs underwater, fading out (very faintly though, since it's a night scene); also, try not to blur the transition spot between her legs and the water, and keep it straight - since the water is calm, with no waves (as it is, the spot is slightly curved).
The star tutorial Cy linked you to is excellent and I'd recommend trying it out, if you haven't already. Work on a big canvas (5000 x 5000), so you can resize afterwards without losing quality, and be careful of the reflections in the water: don't just double the layer, flip it over and change the opacity; resize it even more and lightly erase the stars near the line where the water meets the mountains (this creates an illusion of depth).
With a few modifications, this can be a good scenic wall. Good luck on your future works! :)

I'm happy you brought up the lack of moon, I was kinda wondering if I should have put one there but guess not :) I wanted to be really careful with the underwater-leg part, what with the angle and darkness. Thank you for your thoughts and advices!

It's a good concept. It's lacking a couple of things though. The sky shouldn't be reflected perfectly by the water. Her legs shouldn't just disappear unless if the water is... well that dirty. Also, her standing in the water should make some ripples around her. The edge of the water doesn't look natural at all. Never once have I seen water meet land on a solid line... That and you can see that you put a pretty much solid black line to separate them. The quality of the hills and the sky aren't exactly great. I pulled them into a 1920x1200 and they look choppy. Not to mention if you are going to blur the background, parts further away should be blurred more, but in this case the hills are blurred the most and the sky isn't blurred at all. In terms of lighting. I don't think the background should be completely blue. Sora seems to have a bit of red, making it seem like the hills should have a bit of green (talking about natural colors of the objects)
