Hi there Cilou, noticed this wall on the home page and just had to take a closer look. I love the bright, fresh colours that you've used, and your composition is wonderful, it's a beautiful scene. However there are a few things I feel that you've missed that could really make a difference to it, that aren't huge dramatic changes or anything, but will create a far more pleasing wall.

Firstly, shadows! On the left wing there is a shadow from her Feeler and her hair, but there are no shadows from anything else that would be casting one on her wing. For example; The Butterflies!! You have two of them sitting on her, yet they aren't casting shadows. So there's no sense of depth / perspective there. The other shadow issue is that she is not casting one either... She should be casting a partial shadow on the door frames at least.

Secondly, if her wings are meant to be slightly sheer, then the butterfly behind her left wing up the top, should be able to be seen faintly through the blue.

My Final point is on the glass / perspective. For giving a sense of depth to the wall, you've used things that are very close to the viewer (the leaves and the ladybug) which is awesome, but everything is at the same level at the moment, so there's no real sense of distance between objects. To get a good sense of depth, you could for example, use varying degrees of gaussian blur in layers. Those things that are closest to the viewer would have a fairly noticeable blur on them, as you are focusing on the girl as the center of the wall. Going towards the girl the blur would decrease, with the things on the same level as her being the clearest and crispest. The same goes for those objects behind her, the blur would increase the further away you get from her.

As for the Glass, you could give it a very faint opaque hue so that it looks as though there is an actual barrier between her and the outside instead of the image that there should be glass there.

Really, they are just little points, small changes, but put together they could make a big difference in such a lovely wall. Great work, keep it up =3

Beautiful composition

That's just freaking BEAUTIFUL. I think I'm in love.

This is some colour storm wallpaper... more colorful and vivid than I expected.

Beautiful, but I feel the lack of depth because of missing shadows and the blur needed. And lol, the glass is seemingly absent and it's open air at the windows.

Still, I'm giving my +1 and expecting revisions. o/

Vampluva already said most of what i wanted to say. But well, for me, what i see here, is that the butterflies and the bugs need some sort of motion, or motion blur. I really feel like they're just stickers that ppl usually just put on a wall or window... I really don't like how you created the window /door frame. The color is too dull, when the entire atmosphere is so bright and lively...I'd suggest you start playing with textures for a bit. The frames need lots of textures.

And lastly, may I suggest that you should add some sort of a shine effect on the girl, the grass, the leaves, and the trees? This part would take a lot of effort, since i think you'll need a different layer for different parts as there are just way too many stuffs stacked on top of each other to keep track of.

I'd like to see some sort of light glinting off the glasses because your wall portrays a sunny and bright, happy day, so i think there should be a bright light source somewhere. Also, the sky is too blue, it should be much lighter.

The other stuffs, you can refer to Vampluva's comment. She said out most of what i wanted to say.

This is good but little bit too full. Earlier version had more some kind of harmony what I can't explain. It is good but too full of stuff. Nice picture it is still :). But vector is good.
