About wallie: So it was cold February I was looking throught the pictures and found this scan:
I DL it, but I got buried inside countless folds. Untill some time ago when I finished Kazama Route and was all inspired to do smth with him, so I found this picture and I began:
1) Vectored all the parts in AI: Kazama, flowers, smoke, petals, pattern.
2) Moved in PS: created BG, some gradients, some textures and then I had to put all parts together. After that few correctional layers and here we have this one.
Well, that all. It took me 2 weeks to make Kazama and few days to do the BG for wallie. As for layers it's hard to count, but there are around 100.
I'm not good in painting, (argh, to tell the truth I can't paint at all XD) so I prefer to use original idea for the BG: this time I did the same, I took original elements and used them. I blurred all back layers: I wanted to make 2 dimensions: front and back, so they won't merge. I hope I do achieved it.
The text on wallie is to be read as はかないしゅんかん \ hakanai shunkan = fleeting moment.
I really would like to hear your opinion, because for me this one is piece of work, but still I want to get better, so, douzu yoroshiku onegaishimasu!

The serious lack of good bishie walls in this site saddens me (;n;) So I was overjoy when I saw this in the front page XD
First off, I love the background. It's very well made. I really like the texture and the rearrangement of the flowers. Also I like that you made room for the kanji there. That is a very well thought out composition. Also good work on the vectors.

I really liked how your detail flowers are. Yes it makes a good front and back. Maybe it just me that i think the right side of the bg looks weird with the swirl. Somehow make the whole wall not balance. in contrast to ur reference scan, maybe it's balance coz the width is long. Oh btw, maybe u can try other font to make it look nice. Nice wall and keep it up!

The only thing that bothers me here is the way you put your signature below. It is a bit of a turn-off for me. You could've incorporated your signature/info/details into the wall without it being too noticeable/distracting.
