It's been AGES since I've made a wallpaper----------I do believe that my skills are getting rusty. DX
Anyway, so here I am, bored to death, with nothing to do, and then suddenly, I just had the urge to create a wall. I just want to create a simple wall so I decided to browse the works of Kunie Kanbara------then again, my mind didn't want Kunie Kanbara. So I browsed the works of Yusuke Nakamura instead. While browsing for the perfect image, THIS particular scan caught my attention:
I don't know why but it seemed to call out to me. LOL. Also, the image reminded me strongly of the color bars and tone when a TV station is offline/off air----hence the title, "Channel ZERO".
I decided to make the character mostly B&W to contrast it with the bright colors of the bars behind him/her. I also decided to make the hollow window of the submarine-like head gear look like it's a TV screen with no signal that's why there's only this static noise/lines. I also decided to incorporate the static noise/lines on the tuxedo.
And that's it.
Hope you guys enjoy my latest work.
A comment AND/OR +FAVE AND/OR download would be most appreciated! Thanks a lot.

This is really creative considering the original image! My favorite part is the static on the suit and face. It reminds me of the wind filter i never get chance to use! Nice change recoloring the suit to a fancy black one too! Awesome!

LOL... seems like this is waller's inspiration + beer overload + pissed off over TV Channel statics/offlines. I like the ideas put together... it's good and hilarious. Niwa gives bonus points to the suit made more black, and gentleman-ly... 99 points. +1!

Nice work.
It has that type of style that pops out and screams at you, in a nice sort of way. Kinda reminds me of the works of the 1950s and 60s pop artists of contemporary art. That's a lot of pops and arts in one paragraph.
Anyway, fave in my book

You always seem to make something really unique or different. This wall brought back memories and made me laugh a bit. Great work with fitting the colors of suit so well to the background.
