This is an old wallpaper from 2 years ago during the MT Knockout Wallpaper tournament. Old description below.

BOO. I was the Wildcard for the MT Knockout Round 3

The title of this translates to "Discordant Harmony." When I first saw the scan, I thought it was "strangely beautiful" and one of those things where you'd either love it or hate it - there is no in between. So I thought my wallpaper should produce the same effect.

This round was a sudden and interesting round for me to enter because I had no idea what Art Nouveau was and under normal circumstances, I would never wall this type of scan... I had a feeling every other entry would be a vector and started out with another scan/wallpaper with a vector myself, until I found this scan in my folders. I then trashed my other wallpaper and began blending a pea****into it. The more I worked on it, the weirder it got - but like some addict, I kept going. The colors to this wallpaper were originally closer to a single hue, but since it resembled the colors of many of my other works, I decided to splash richer colors into it.

The end result was something that made me go "......" - literally. So that's when I knew it was done. XD

The more I look on this one the more realistic it becomes. Somehow this wallie resembles me pattern for expensive kimono: beautiful and breathtaking. I swear I can see the overflow of fabric!

I like details and all the accents: waves, sun, branches, flowers, feathers and all the patterns on them, the girl and her hair. It's just all so connected <3 Just perfectly reflects the name "Discordant Harmony"

I'm sure you casted some charm spell on this one, because it really is addicting!

Love the texture work! It's really intricate! Nice colors too. I dont think i've ever faved a wall with a pea****in it before but no better time than the present!
