Sword Art Online Beacon of Light

Biggest thing is the level of dead space. I really dig the idea of incorporating Guild Wars 2 cinematic art, because it's gorgeous, but with this I feel like a silhouette or something on the left hand side, like of some giant opposing force, that's just a shade lighter than the background would really give it that battlefield impression. Or perhaps an opposing enemy in relation to the show that's done in the same way, except using a more red color palette. For myself personally, I get the impression that he's either on a cliff side overlooking a large city/battlefield, or else overlooking an enormous enemy.

Otherwise, I seriously love what you've done here. Simplistic in all the right ways.

Simple but effective!

Would be cool to see revision with something added to left side just for comparison, but I actually enjoy the vast dark emptiness of the wall. It gives me the same feeling as when I stand on a empty crop field covered by snow on a dark winter night watching to dark horizon full of unknown. Wind blowing on my face. Tell me about refreshing. Nothing better than hot chocolate after adventure in winter night.

Maybe its just me but this makes me hope it would be winter again.

thats allright but to me if you say that your work gets worse if you add more to it, means that your work or art is incredablely fine and that it is perfect the way it is . No need to make any changes.... its great!

Gorgeous. I appreciate the empty, vacant aesthetic. I like wallpapers that aren't cluttered and the colour scheme and balance is perfect for me. Don't add anything! It works great as is. :)

He looks like he is gazing into or at something. Why not make it a monster hes about to fight? Or a cave/meadow hes about to enter? Or even a narrow path down a dark forest.

Its really simple looking and feels like there should be a little something more in the background. Its still a nice though
