Persona 4 The axe of double edge

I'm loving the vector and typography! I'm not sure I like that blue with that red, though. And I usually like whacky colour combinations like those. Hmm. Oh, and these resolutions are gigantic! xD I think the highest resolution I've seen on a computer is 2880x1800 on a Macbook Pro. Well, I suppose now it's future-proof. :3

It looks good. The blue-ness is kinda off for me but still good. I like the vector job and the typography you made. Might I suggest making a revision using gradient colors of contrasting hues. It might work. Well. Anyway, nice job.

I am actually loving the colors here right now and the simplicity of the wall although, the color of the hot pink to bloody red is too much of a contrast with the aquamarine candy color! D: Maybe if you toned it down a bit, then it would really compliment each other very, very well! :D I'm loving the typography as well here. It's such a nice distraction to all of the psychedelic colors that's going on with your wall right now. XD

Oh yeah! I just noticed that the halftones lose their sharpness in the larger resolutions. They become somewhat blurred. But in the regular resolutions, they look just fine. ^^v

You could make more revisions with adjusting the hues and gradients of the colors just like @PaoPorsche said. That would be a nice thing as well. XD Adding in some subtle textures would work as well.

UPDATE: WELL, I am certainly loving the latest revision that you have here! The monochrome then the splash of colors really work well together. The grungy look adds a nice touch to it as well. :D

Vectors are awesome, and massive resolution is awesome. So, awesome wallpaper! Great job on this.

It is generally a very clean wallpaper... but I find the red eyes a bit distracting (was it the main purpose to have viewers focused on the eye?), Nevertheless, very crisp and good mix of colours!

I really enjoyed your first version of the wallpaper, but that blue background was just far too bright on the eyes to really use and the only comments I could offer were already offered. Since you've done some revising, I wanted to take a moment to comment.

So I'm probably one of the rare ones, but I actually really dislike the typography. I like the creativity of it, but the flow itself strikes me as lacking and the dash marks, while providing a cool effect, really throw everything off to me. I'd actually prefer them to not be there, since it's sort of distracting and you don't actually read it as Labrys but Larrys. Don't take it the wrong way, I like how you had fun with it and fooled around, but it definitely needs more refinement and for a piece like this, it doesn't necessarily fit the tone of the piece either.

For the background though, I'm really digging the changes you made. Labrys gets much more time to shine and the viewer isn't horribly distracted by the background either. You've got some great looking shadow casting going on there and giving it this white tone really helps give more dynamics to the piece itself. I can't express enough how much that helps the background, and if there was a complaint I had to offer it's that the black you used is really heavy on the piece. However, it does flow with the piece itself, so I have to say that it still does work rather nicely.

Ultimately, I feel that the third piece is the more definitive version of the three. It really shows your ability to not only mold a piece, but also to take in critique and really make it your own. Plus, it's Labrys, seriously. This girl doesn't get enough love. Great work!
