There is a certain style to the series of drawing that came from DVD covers of Wolfs Rain that just seem to remind me of mozaic windows whenever I see them. I've wanted to do something with one of those covers for a long time. This wallpaper started out very simple with just Cheza, I wanted the whole wallpaper to have a flat feel, but at the same time add texture to it. As I went on the picture got complicated. I had to create the flower field on my own with only the scan for reference, lots of cutting pasting and image manipulating. I changed the background texture three times, cause I kept making it too dark.
Hope you like it!

Excellent character angle, lovely perspective, and an expert use of the stained glass effect. This piece has a lot of impact.

very beautiful. it does remind me of kalico's wolfs rain wallie. then again i think the "stained glass" look works well for wolf's rain.

You are right, this does kind of remind someone of a mosaic, or a stained-glass window. Amazing job on the background and the effects. The scan you chose and the character perspective really add to the appeal of this wallpaper. Good job!

This one reminds me of one of Kalico's submissions for Wolf's Rain. Similar textured style on areas that would otherwise be smooth, though I feel that the flowers down the bottom are a bit too detailed in comparison to the rest of the image. Still nice though.

This reminds me of something I once saw. Wheat fields were the main element in that piece. While this doesn't share that grass in common, it does look similar. I like the texture that you have applied to entire piece. It gives it a look of originality. I know that sounds rather unspecific, but that is how I see it. Very good work on Cheza too.

The way it's aged reminds of old film, that's why I like it, it's very beautiful and classic.

It has such an ancient look to it, as though it would be seen as a mural someplace. Very unique :) +fav~

I love everything about it, mostly the color theme~ I like how cheza's hair is tinted, and theres these line marks that make it look like it was drawn from scratch. *is an art fanatic* I really don't know what else to say, I must sounds like a n00b P(T_T)

Its a very nice wallpaper, with very nice texture though i believe you could use some extra objects such as flowers or another kind of texture to use on the blank spots of the sky and in a way make it seem a bit different from the rest of the work......It would be more interesting i think.... In any casy well sone. ^^

This paper reminds me a lot of stained glass.
It says a lot, but with as little amount of space possible, without being too complicated!
Keep up the good work!
