Hi there ♥ I've been wanting to do another Luke wallpaper but never found an appropiatte image, so when this one came out I quickly vectorized and made this, though it's been quite a while since I started this because I wasn't happy with the outcome (I mean, who will like it if I'm not content with it myself?), but lately managed to put myself into this 8U
I hope you like it and give me advice because I want to improve it, I wanted to do something different from the walls I usually do (at first the bg came out exactly like the one in my first AoEx wall -____-), but I'm not really sure it happened xD In case you wonder about the sky-like bg, it's because Luke lives in a country which is known as "The kingdom of sky", those who know the game/anime will know.
I'll upload the vector in the next days in case anyone feels to do something with it ♥ All the resources can be found in deviantart, brushes and patterns does not belong to me.

Hi! Great work on the wall! I really like what you did with the background. The texture in the background really gives this wallpaper a nice feel rather than just empty space. It looks like you have 5 elements going on at once (clouds, the paper-like texture, the orange blurs, those flower-petal things, and the diagonal stripes) yet when all of them are together it does not feel overwhelming at all. I think wallpapers that throws in a lot of elements into the background tend to be overwhelming if they don't work somehow and you definitely made this work. I also really like how you do not have all the elements covering the wallpaper; what I mean is you have spots where it's lacking one element or the other - I think that really helps the wall NOT be overwhelming. I noticed you have some of the clouds go behind Luke while some parts of the clouds go in front of him and I really love that small touch of detail you put into it. One small thing that sort of irks me, and it might just be personal preference, is that you can distinctly see that the orange blurs are all in the same direction (they form a sort of "r" shape). What I probably would have done is just use a regular circle brush since that might not be as distinct. However, that might turn out worst than I imagined haha! So please take my word with a grain of salt. I don't want you to go changing your wallpaper only to have YOU, the artist, less satisfied with it. It honestly does look good though, good job!

wow thanks for your comment!! (it really makes me happy) since the very beginning I always tried not to do an overwhelming bg, because it either looks great or just cramped, and totally demostrates your hability when doing this kind of stuff. About the orange brush with that weird form, I noticed that and made it softer but, afterall, it managed to stand out anyway xD. So I once more tried to make it softer but it loses the intensity I want to give to this wall, it just looks off, so I guess I won't try until later (you know when stuff change depending on the time? like, today I see something there but maybe tomorrow It'll look different?) so thank you once again for the comment ♥

I totally get what you mean! You just gotta get in the zone. This happens to me a lot when I'm playing Osu! or something. I'll totally be out of my zone one moment and then i'll be kicking butt a few hours later! Anyway, it looks good either way, good luck if you ever try to revise it!

I'm no expert on this things, but I can give you my honest and simple opinion :) And, I love this wallpaper, I liked a lot the art in this game (I played it recently on the 3DS) and I like the anime art style. I like the image that you used as a foundation, and the background feels like it makes a nice contrast, and at the same time it kind of blends with the original concept. I wish you had it on my resolution 1366x768 :P But that's OK, I still like it a lot.

AP needs more Tales of related wallpapers like this!!!
Since i'm a big fan of Tales games, i gotta say that i love this wall, Luke looks cool there (even when i prefeer the long-haired version). The background is also very nice, but i feel like it could be better
