well this is the Asuna i did for my wallpaper ^^
based in this scan xD
The same process:
i did the lineart, then i painted in my style + added some extra details in the costume, just my taste, nothing special.
i hope you guys like it, and credit if used! plz plz plz!

OMG First post... I'm reposting some info Read it....Learn from it.
My friend you truly are amazing. Going to such great lengths to create vivid and unique imagery. I especially like the details you added to Asuna. As always the vectors are of the highest super clean & crisp quality. The sword, which stands out as probably the best vectored weapon I have ever seen in the whole of AP, particularly benefits from these additional detailed.
Though I have to say the eyes are always my favorite part of any vector you do, that and the jewels. These all create secondary compositions that is tons of fun. I really enjoy dissecting your work.
With the development of the SAO storyline it's only a matter of time till you use the fairy versions of the characters you have already vectored... I will be awaiting your interpretations. You never cease to amaze me in ways I could never imagine. I think you could give the original artists a run for their money... That is why I'm faving this...And for all you reading I'm keeping this short cause I could write for about another hour... +FAV

Oh wow, vivid and expert coloring, isshi's signature style. The dull colors of the sword and her hair suddenly skyrocketed to next levels. The added background for the vector... that's a plus wow factor. +1!

I really loved it!!! Not only because it is well vectorized and neat, but also because you improvised and added some details of your own that make it look fantastic -: the reflections on the steel of the sword,the feather ornament on the hair, the bracelet and the jewel. The change of colour in the hair suits her best and i dpre the reflections you improvised on it

I have no idea how you can take an image and make it truly wallpaper worthy. My hat is off to you. I like how you got read of the smile from the original image. Nice touch as it really didn't match the stance or subject of the picture at all. (smiling while swinging a sword... is she psycho?) The additions to the outfit are cool (lack of better word) too, the fingerless gloves, wing... pendant... thingy in the hair, extra jewels on the sword, even the metal and wrinkles/creases in the cloth look more realistic. Only thing I don't like is some of the colors are a too bright for me. Feel like I need to turn my screen down.

This is pure awesome, I love the pose <33 The vector is superbly well done, very clean. Asuna's skin has nice color. Her sword has good detail and has a nice shine to it. In some vectors swords/weapons can look pretty dull, because they don't add the proper gradients/shine to the blade itself, but you definitely didn't make that mistake and as a result the blade shines a bit and looks great. The jewels on the end on the sword look nice. Her hair and eyes have a beautiful color and shine to them. The vivid colors used here definitely give Asuna much more pop than in the original scan. The feather ornament in her hair, the bracelets on both wrists and earrings she has on are very pretty touches that you added, they look really cute and fit Asuna well. I also really love how you handled her uniform, I've always thought it looked pretty cool and they way you vectored it just makes it look that much more awesome. You had a great attention to detail here.
My only complaint would be that Asuna's other hand (the one with the gold bracelet on it) the shape of her fingers look off; her thumb is also a little bit bent at a seemingly weird angle, but that was also in the original scan. And I do like the black fingerless glove that you added. Overall though amazing work, a definite fav from me^^
