Hi, It's been a while since my last wall :) With all the great new anime out there this season I really wanted to make a wall on one of them.
Psycho-pass is currently one of my favourite series this season - the concept is very intriguing. The character designs caught my attention first (ofcourse because it is by Akira Amano). I started on vectoring Kogami first with no idea of what the background will be and still had no idea when I finished Kogami, thus it was left in my folder for a week.. I re-watched parts of the series to find inspiration and took some screenshots from the ending theme which I worked from.
The other version has the first background I did for the wall, however it didn't turn out as good as I wanted for the wall so it was scrapped... Upon revision I did some effects and edits in Photoshop to produce this version - a more scenic background. The background is from the building Kogami was in on the first episode.

It's so rare to see a tech wall these days especially one in such high quality. I love the matrix like feel and the neon lines! Superb work!

Yay you uploaded it here too! :D But now there's an alternate version! I like it a lot as well - some nice motion blur effects and cityscape. Just wish it was bigger though! Also wouldn't mind to see some of the orange skin color on it as well, to complement the blue. As usual, great new high quality wall! 8D

Truly the stagnancy has passed. Not to say that there were not some nice walls on AP, but inspiration comes in waves. And this is proof of it. As Isshi has way to be unique and innovative, you have an eye for almost excessive detail. I notice you find tons of reference material that most are not willing to dig up. Creating highly detailed environments for the characters you choose. Most will read this post and think I'm saying that your work is overdone... So to clarify I'm not saying that at all. I'm say you go all the way.... There is no half-assing it here, no cutting corners because you lost interest. Which in something this detailed is all to common and occurrence.. Of which I can be held accountable for as well. I have several unfinished pieces that I've had to set aside till I have a clearer head.
The quality creates believability that is un rivaled. And for your vigilance and commitment to quality your work shines out as proof that the stagnation has crept back.... One is an anomaly Two or more is an army to quell the stagnation. Thank you... And to all you out there learn from this..This vectored character has 2 or more adjacent useable sides, a highly reference background, comes in more than one size and version (FYI... most of us have wide screen formatted screens... aka rectangular), exceptional composition and correct perspective for the background and character relationship.

Oh that little bit was for those who make square walls... They never convert or crop correctly when you put them on your computer. You know! You do such great work how can I not comment, but don't be sorry. As long as walls are made with modern screens in mind then they convert correctly and they are less auto cropping issues. The thing is that unless you are using a computer that's 10-15 years or older, or you have a super cheap & crapy monitor most of the world has rectangular screens, widescreen or not... They're not square by any stretch of the imagination.
I have no issues with the sizes & ratio formats you use. My comment was more or less targeted at those aspiring or those who just don't get it... Though this reply should clarify to them even more.

Woah! now there's something you don't see everyday.. that's certainly an eye catcher.
The first looks more wall-able being monochrome with a touch of tech-savy neon that sits just about right for a desktop not being too busy and easy on the eyes. While the second one is downright impressive and certainly deserve more love than it getting right now! As always your High Quality remains a trademark for your work.

The monochrome one is truly amazing. It looks like it could come out of a blue-ray dvd on a super hd television. The detail that was put on the background and basically everything is really nice. I also love Psycho-pass, I was glad someone was able to make a wallpaper from this anime. Dominators and Kogami(I love the character designs by Akira Amano) looks so cool in this wall. This wall has some futuristic feel in it. I love how you were able to gather the elements that you use in this wall. The vectoring was really nice and clean. Though first version looks a little blurred. The monochrome idea of the first version was really cool but the background seems a little bit odd maybe because of the city lights in the background. For me, glowing things for gray colored walls seems that they don't fit, because color gray gray looks dull while the glowing things should look bright. Maybe it was a right decision for you to scrapped the first version.
For the second version, all I can say is "AWESOME". I was really happy and contented about the second version. Looks lovely and lively. All the elements falls into there right place. It was good that you were able to show the working process. I love the technique you use on vectoring Kogami. The background was unique and superb. For your nice work, you deserve a +FAV.

WOWWWW!!!! I love how you added all the holograms that say stuff. The background looks like a high tech map, and it really fits the scene. The quality is amazing as well!! The lighting is perfect, and the vectors are good too.

Egads! This is one of the best wallpapers I've seen on this site this year. Everything is flawless on this picture. I really love all the details you've added to the background. It really brings out the digital feeling of the Sibyl system. The hologram type design is really gorgeous and goes well with the dystopian futuristic feeling show. I also noticed that there is another version, a less detailed one. I really love that version too. It is more friendly as a wallpaper and I love that it's semi-gray scaled. As for the vector, it's perfect. The colors, the way you blend everything, the smoothness, and the glowing parts of the weapon, yeah, there is nothing here I don't like. It's simply a flawless vector. Marvelous work, this is truly a fantastic wallpaper, but I wouldn't expect anything less from you. +FAV

:D I must say Psycho-Pass is definitely a must watch for Fall 2012 Season Anime.
The story concept was interesting, as well as the gadgets! Hologram dresses, interior etc. I personally liked the scenic background, but I must admit the 'in-game screen' feel and the vectored version is a notch higher than gray-scaled revision 1.
Snagging on both, well done on the detailing, shading and lightnings! Applaud you for the detailed work!
