Hey guys! I was really surprised that my Shinobu vector really hit it off so I first want to thank you everybody for that. Anyway, I made this Sengoku vector way before the Shinobu vector; however, I was still a novice so it was horribly done. A user found that old Sengoku vector off of my deviant art and asked if I'd be willing to upload it onto animepaper. So then I decided to redo the vector completely! It took me quite awhile since I was busy with life but I had a lot of fun vectoring Sengoku since she was my first favorite character in the Bakemonogatari series (of course, I love all the characters!).

Revision 1 is the vector of the original source image.

Revision 2, I decided I wanted to make Sengoku a bit... sexier? So I tried to remove just the lower tier frill of her skirt and vector in the rest of her thigh to preserve her innocence while showing a bit more skin.

I'll be happy to take any constructive criticism or mistakes that people can point out!

I like how you included an "in progress" image. Your method is interesting-I do the base color first and then any shading, while you do the opposite. I also like how you gave us both variants of her outfit because I prefer the original.

The one thing that seems off about this vector is the white on her skin is too extreme, especially with the haloing on her leg and breasts. Honestly it looks like she's got a rash.

I'm sure someone else will suggest extending her hair so the vector can be used with more options. If it's within your skill set, consider revising this one or doing so in the future.

Thanks for the suggestions! I'll definitely tone down the haloing on her leg and breasts and do something about the whites. As for her hair, the thought of extending it has been lingering in my mind since I started the vector. Honestly, I think it'll be tough for me as I still feel like I'm not that skilled yet. However, I will definitely try my best and see if perhaps I'm wrong about myself!

Also, yeah I do the shading and such first then the base color xD I don't know why I do that though...I guess it was just a habit...

I'll probably take into consideration all the suggestions so far and toss up a few revisions if it looks okay. However, this might be awhile as I have final exams currently. xD I'll probably see how it'll look without the blush and lighten the glare. I feel like if i took away the glare on her breasts then it look very flat with no dimension.
