Just one complaint: I should have done a little bigger. sigh
A Vector of Yuiko Kurugaya, from Little Busters!. If you haven't read the Visual Novel, DO IT NOW! xD (and yeah, the anime is... so-so.)
Anyway, took more time to finish than I expected. After all, I posted the lineart two months ago. Too much studies and anime. xD Maybe I'll do a wallpaper with this after.
Well, more details below.
Done in: Photoshop CS3/CS4 Layers: 86 (I overdid again...) Original CG: http://puu.sh/13dUq

The shadows look very nice and i really like how you vectored the skirt and the cloth in general. Not to complain but the sword/katana looks very unreal and doesn't fit the "solidness" the rest of the vector gives so it would be good if you re-coloured it. Right now it only looks like gray plaint with some light airbrushed on it. to make it look more fitting, you could give it a bit more clear shadows or just shadow it more in general. If you are going to keep the "softeness" of the sword, you could also try to soft the vector in general, then it couldn't stand out as much, but that could be very sad because I really like the details and the detailed shadows in the hair. and "höh" 86 layer not bad. I also have a tendency to use at least 50 layers when I photoshop xD

First of all, thanks for the suggestions. The sword was kinda hard to make, and seems like I exaggerated a bit with the lightning. I'll try to change it a bit. (though I'm still in school last exams period, so it might take some days... xD)

This is a beautiful vector very well done. But I would have liked to see you extend the scan at the very least finished off the sword tip. You have a great talent. I only have one grip and it is a minor one... I would have liked to see more variation in the thickness of the outlines.. That seems to give vectors a better feel at least that is my personal opinion. +FAV
