I like the vector but like I have sad a lot lately you should have finished off the vector, or at least the elbow and fingertips. I keep telling people that there is an over abundance of referance material out there to finish these croped images. I know they are beautiful and they grip at our hearts because we love them. But if we truely want to make a tribute to them hunt down the referance material and complete the character.
I'm very newbie in animepaper and I don't know much about image editting but I think this image looks a little "gray", its color saturation is low. Besides that its a good image.
My very first vectors were exactly like this. I never realized a screenshot's colors would become so badly noticeable when vectored. This screenshot has the character in a dark room. causing the skin, clothes, etc to become darker in color. Perhaps the gradient you used for her skin is in reverse; the lighter side of the gradient should be toward the bottom and not near her face (the lightest shade at her arms is the proper skin color).
In other words, lines are clean and nicely shaped. This would be a great screenshot if the elbow and fingers were extended. If possible, try to use the colors of another screenshot with proper lighting. Not too much though---avoid sunset scenes at all costs! =^_^=
