Persona 4 Arcana II

Well damn, that is some great work you've done there. The vector was done nicely and the addition of textures really made the background much more appealing. Really I'm taking a liking to the abstract designs you've done more than anything else this wall, hehe. Now the black, white and red colour scheme has been rather overused but whatever! It still looks great regardless. Now some issues that I'd like to point out since I won't feel satisfied until I've made some gripes. Firstly, that angle... Secondly, I think her skirt's pattern is a bit hard on the eyes when set as a desktop. I'd rather see the white and black being toned down so they don't contrast each other so much (or it's just my eyes -.-'). And... that's all for today. Great job! ...and don't worry, I'm way lazier than you.

I actually prefer your work way more than what the original picture/design had to offer by itself. People might say that this is the natural outcome of an artist that used a picture in order to actually beautify it in the form of a wallpaper but that is not what I think at all, at least most of the time. Usually I prefer the original pictures that come from all those (magazine and what not) scans - of course under the condition that the magazine's comments/letters in general do not come along with the picture - as they usually not only portrait the characters just the way I've learnt to love them, but in their natural environment that I also learnt to connect (in my eyes) to their perfect figures, thus increasing the possibility of me liking the picture by a large margin. So here we have your incredible input into this already amazing artwork. I should probably mention that the 3rd submission is definitely my favorite one, followed easily by the 1st one (which makes sense when one knows that the 3rd one is actually the 1st one modified accordingly) and last but not least followed by the 2nd one, which I also like. There is something about the colouring of the 2nd picture that doesn't fit with my general preferences about colours which is why it's my least favorite. Let's move on to the picture in general. I especially like the text you provided along with the picture. It's an easy to think text that goes along with Yukiko Amagi, in this somewhat alluring pose, while maintaining an honest gaze - like saying it to all of us. "You all think me as just a pretty thing to pass time with and you see all my actions as supporting facts to that claim. But it's only what you think.." - says her pretty face. Second, I like the chosen background. A gray world. Reminds me of the world inside the TV, while under being covered by mist. I've always wondered if this story was happening while the TVs were still monochrome (but only inside the game, we the players we'd get all the colours naturally) if the world inside the TV would be a whole black and white world (still shaped by the ones who enter of course) as well. So, you can say, I especially like your choice of background for personal reasons. Yukiko is probably among my 4 favorite characters of the game, so since she is the one to re-awaken that old thought of mine using your wallpaper then all the better! And let's move to the only problem I have with the 3rd picture. Unlike the 1st one, Yukiko's face/body/everything is more horizontally expanded and less vertically. Like her image suffered a bit due to you 'stealing' away her colours. As much as I enjoy the thought that this is the cause, it still bugs me somewhat, as her figure is perfect in the 1st submission. But that's a personal preference again, so if you did it intentionally, then I rest my case. It still remains my favorite submission of the three. Thank you for providing us with this little jewel.
