You would think that me, being such a huge fan of old school anime, that I would have made a Rurouni Kenshin wallpaper before now. But clearly I didn't until recently. I also would like to apologize for my lack of walls recently. I've been stupid busy as of late.
The whole premise behind this wall is to give it the overall scroll/parchment feel - as though this were placed on some faded paper used for painting on. I used manga images of Kenshin from both his Rurouni days and when he is known as Hitokiri Battousai. The present and the past peacefully stand side by side, so to speak. The quote is a direct quote from the anime - a quote from Himura Kenshin himself. And, of course, I decided to use "the wanderer" instead of writing "rurouni" down at the bottom below the quote.
Versions 3 and 4 are slightly darker than versions 1 and 2. I also included textless versions of the walls for those who only wish to have the background image without the text.

I like the simplicity of this wall and I think it fits the series really well! The colors and textures are very nice and I love all the choices you've given us... especially textless! I only wish there were more sizes. Thanks a lot for sharing.

Thank you so much for your wonderful comments! I also love the color and textures used and thought it was a nice palette to go with! I also thought it would be good to add textless versions in case people wanted one without words. I know sometimes the wallpaper can be wonderful with or without text added to it - just depends on people's preferences. As for sizes, I'm sorry I couldn't provide more. I just used the standard sizes for my own desktop. When I get around to it, I will add more dimensions for sure. Thank you again!
