This wallpaper is very beatiful. the dark puple is very nice and adds a soft but hardness to the wallpaper that make it so woundful. The sky is cool and seems to go on forever. I love it. Awesome job.

The background is absolutely beautiful, very soft and light, despite the dark colors. However, it is because of this, that the scan you chose feels too.... cartoony. There is far less detail on the scan in the foreground, then the background, which makes the whole thing look backwards. I think part of the problem comes from the face, which has no lines on it other then the eyes. Too... plain for your background. Despite that, you still did a great job on the wall, good work!

Haha, the top of the Torii is lit up as if it's a neon tube, like it's a convenience store in the spirit land. It all kind of works together in a dreamy way, the flux between realism and unreal lighting/character. Her robe could've used some fake texture and less photoshop shading, but it still doesn't detract from the fantastic mood of the entire wall.

Very atmospheric. Nice use of the the moon and the lights as light sources. Very effective and detailed.

The water is beautiful and the whole wallpaper has a really nice atmospheric ambience to it. Definitely one to add to my favourites list!

Desktop of the Week!!!

The atmosphere got me right away. The purpleness of the Wall generating the darkness effect is just right. It worked with Grayserg's COTS Wall as well, but that one was VERY PURPLE !
Moon and Clouds look great. I had to change my Digital vibrance setting so I could see the water however.

This wallie is very beautiful and lovely! The rocks turned out pretty good! The only thing that i don't really like about this wallie, is Kaoru. It didn't really blend well with the wallie but it fits in okay. Overall, you have done a wonderful job on this!! Keep it up!! +fave

very nice work with the bkg and the mood- my only two little complaints are kaoru's eyes and the lamps that are a bit too western I think ^-^;; hehe but other than that it looks beautiful!

I was surprised why they rejected and then accepted it again, I will comment there soon enough. It is kinda blurry which is something I did not like too much. But I love the serene feeling to it. Definitely a plus. a little more clear on the surroundings would make a great improvement.

the most outstanding thing about this is kaori....totally different from the backgrounds tone and all....

amazing background, but kaoru needs a lot of work, her eye is way too big for one thing and she doesn't fit in well with the background with her thick outlines, more detailed artwork of her would look much better

Very nice work, great job on the BG, but the rocks look a little, awkward like you mentioned( the rocks look like they have shadows from trees on them) and the lamp post looks almost transparent, but I see nothing else wrong with this wall, so fave it is

Hm, this wallpaper is very elegent and formal. It also has some dark feature to it, however. The colors all blend together with the shades of purple. The brightness may be a little too much. It would somehow appear better in the same contrast. Keep the work and effort up!
