I've been on a wall making spree the past couple of days.
I recall telling a few of the users who commented on my wallpaper, 
(Desert Rose), that I would be continuing to make more Puella Magi Madoka Magica wallpapers - focusing on a character wall series.
The first in the character series is Homura Akemi and I went for a simple, dark and smoky image for her wall theme since she is a character shrouded in mystery throughout the series until near the very end. The words included in Revisions 1 and 4 are the first line of the lyrics to the song by Florence + The Machine titled "Blinding." I have used these lyrics before for a previous wallpaper of mine, but the first five lines of the song will each be listed, line by line, for each character. I also included textless versions of Revisions 1 and 4.
I hope everyone enjoys this wallpaper and please feel free to comment/critique as you see fit!
EDIT: Versions 2 and 4 are now lighter around the legs. I decided to keep the top part of the head as is because, well, it looks perfectly fine on my computer. The legs were what was difficult to see for me as well. Also, version 1 now has my name stamped at the corner like it should have been before. XD

Uhm, the legs and the upper part of the head of the character are barely visible in all versions, can you light up those parts a little starting from the first version? The idea is really interesting, but I prefer the first couple of versions, in the last version the scan loses too many details.

Well, the wall as a whole is supposed to be dark so I only wanted some parts of Homura visible. But I can understand where you are coming from. I'll fix the first few revisions and have them up later today. Thank you for your comment!

I agree with $santoic. Your wall is very nice and the idea is very good, the vector is well made. But it's to dark, specially around the legs. Besides that, the wall looks great!! =D

Thanks for the comment. Again, I wanted to focus on the image being dark, but I can see where you both are coming from. I will fix these issues in the first two revisions and have them up later today.

Good job Pai-chan. I've been in the mood for minimalist walls lately, hence why I made my own minimalist Madoka wall recently. Anyways I think it's quite nice. I opted for revision 2. I didn't really find the quote particularly interesting. I'd prefer something that the character actually said. It's a bit of a spoiler but I like "No matter how many times I have to repeat all of this, I'll protect you!" - Homura Akemi. Anyways, if you have some reason for choosing the lines from that song, that's cool. I just didn't find them to really apply to Homura's character.
Other cool quotes, just for the heck of it:

Awwww! Acid you just keep such good tabs on me! Thank you! And yeah, the song "Blinding" always, to me, fit the Puella Magi girls in their own way. But I can see where you are coming from. I'll definitely be making more walls of the Puella Magi girls in the future and I absolutely love the quotes you picked from each character (save for Mami. I'll have to fish for hers XD), but that's why I made different versions of the wall for those who wished to just have a textless one in case they didn't like the one with the text on it.

Amazing style, I love centered wallpapers. The smokey style is really pleasing, perhaps a little dark but I understand where you're getting at and you made lighter revisions! You should consider finding photoshop cs, it will give you some more tools to work with!

Thanks Bantam! I always love when you critique my work! And yes, I'm in the process of getting a better computer and as soon as I do, I'm definitely going to getting Photoshop CS for it. I love the things I've seen people do with it and am looking forward to incorporating those tools/etc. into my own future works!

Wow, this is a great wallpaper! It's really dark but very appropriately so, especially for Homura.. even elegant in it's darkness. Also the details like the lights that look like stars and the red in the background is a brilliant touch.
