Wow. I love it. Dramatic mood. If it wasn't so blurry, then it'd really be crazy. :\ But that add's the effect, so I'm just confusing myself right now. The scan looks a bit strange though. Lovely text, btw. The only thing that really bothers me is the scan, I'm not sure what you did to it, but it seems rather awkward now. But really great work on the bg. :D I've fave it. :)

big el fand here yep, you did some magic with the bg, looks **** great i think 'for lilium' is a rather weird idea, but that matters the least anyway, am i supposed to see rain here? hmm, pretty hard to figure... but yea, now i see it, shes soaked... the hair shouldnt be standin like that over her back, thats what wet hair just doesnt do theres somethin else that disturbs me bout lucy here, not really sure what... so id say u did a much better job with the bg than with the scan and im not sure bout the rain... but i still like it beacuse of the dark atmosphere and originality... few walls are located in a forest

I think you've captured the spirit of the show well. At first I found it to be a little too blurry, but it didn't take long for the dark & primal imagery to win me over. The text is wicked, and the whole thing just flows. Losing the nipples was a good idea too. Well done.

Very good. The contrast is nice, and I like the scan. The trees are very well made, they look realistic. ^_^ The colours are dark and awesome. The text is nicely smooth, too. Nothing bad to say.... ;D

Ah, I was just thinking what is wrong with this picture, but you wrote it yourself: "[Edit]Did not add the nipples as shown on the scan, it looks ugly anyway". I can't say I do not agree with you that this looks a lot better. The light effects in this wallpaper are downright awesome, I didn't notice the rain effect untill I read about it in the description. The blending between the vector and the stock photo went really well for as far as I'm concerned. Above that I did like the lucy character a lot. That together makes a +fav.

Btw: I do think the wallpaper's title is a bit weird, you should've called it: "I went out on a rainy day and forgot my clothes". That really fit's her "Doh!" position better ^^

I didn't notice it at first, but what's with the dark areas between both her chest and face, and her hair and body? I know that in the original picture of lucy, those areas where dark, so why didn't you you puch those out when you vectored it?

an excellent job indeed! If Edgar Allan Poe's still alive today, he'd use this as an inspiration. Rich, dark, unmistakably macabre and somber. the background gives the total emphasis of sadness and (or) being let go.

This is a very nice wallpaper and I think you've blended the scan and the background really well. I get a real sense of dispair from your composition and the way you've handled the shift in light really accomplishes that. Great work! :)

I do agree with you on certain aspects on what SHOULDN'T of been included in Elfen Lied. The series DID try to be a few things that it shouldn't of when it was dealing with the darker nature of humanity, but I guess it helped to serve to lighten the load. I guess it's all up to the person cause this is one of my favorite shows of all time.

As for the wall, I've stated it over and over again, but I'll say it once more. This wall is purely a masterpiece. I absolutely adore the background the most. It greatly reminds me of the opening art (and I didn't know that it was influenced by Klimt until Lilac told me about it =3) and I absolutely ADORE the opening art. The lighting, the texture, the swirls. Everything is just simply flawlessly brought together to form this beautiful and perfect masterpiece. What I love even more is you stripped what would make this wallpaper only for a few (her nipples are showing in the original scan) and made it for everyone. That's the kind of artwork I love, something that can be easily viewed by everyone. Overall, this is a work of art, a pure genius masterpiece and the best Elfen Lied wall I have ever seen. I'm especially inlove with the textless version of this wall.

Wow! I was amazed by this. I mean the background was very unique when you got the idea from the scan. You gave a nice gradient and decorations to make this wallpaper stand out.

Despite the nudity it's a beautiful art. I'm glad you didn't add those "unmentionable" details to it because it would seem distracting if you know what I mean. :D You vectored the outlines very smoothly and got the shade areas perfectly. :3 The texture you added for the skin gave a nice touch to it. I'm glad you made those markings around her stand out because it made the wallpaper interesting and unique too. :D

What a beautifully sad wallpaper.

First thank you for doing wallpaper of a less commonly used scan for this show, unlike many of the other wallpapers here. The colors on this wallpaper are really one of my favorite aspects of this wallpaper. They are so "pure" they're appear almost "fluid" like. I'm not quite sure how to put it but the wallpaper's colors have life to them. You also did a great job blending Lucy from the scan with your forest foreground.

P.S. I think removing the nipples was an appropriate choice, otherwise I would have suggested making them less "erect" or prominent.

I love the effect of Lucy alone in the woods. And the sentence, brief but with that word that reminds me Elfen Lied everytime I hear or read it: Lilium. Very good work (+fav)
