So it's been quite some time since I last submitted anything. After 6 months of procrastinating, I finally managed to finish this vector of Tomoe Mami (I seem to like vectoring characters from Madoka). Originally I planned to finish this vector within 2 months but video games, school, and lack of motivation delayed it. Oh well...

Well about the actual vector, I only made a few minor changes from the original scan. Since I'm still experimenting with different colouring techniques there may be a couple of hiccups here and there (do point them out to me if you find any!). What I probably had the hardest time with was colouring the rifle which in my opinion, still seems lacking (but I'm too lazy to improve on it any further =3 ). I stuck with black line art this time around simply because I thought it looks better (...and I was lazy, again). Anyway, as usual any comments, criticisms, spam, etc. are welcome.

This is a really good vector, I can't really find anything to complain amount. Everything looks really smooth and nice, the outlines are well done. The coloring is good too, nice bright colors and there is good shading too. You do the same thing I started doing, have a clean background version and then one with color behind it so it looks nice in the preview. The black outline doesn't really take anything away from it. Colored outlines are nice but they take away some of the contrast if overused. The black outlines make for a strong outlines which fits with the art of the series. Good work. RIP Mami.

Nice I've been waiting for this. I'm not the biggest madoka fan but upon seeing this as a WIP I knew it would turn out great. Madoka artstyle check, nice colors and lines check, and I dig that rifle. Great job Vesti, no complaints.

Ooohhh... that is so cute! :D Really like what you did with the blush lines! Not to mention the eyes, you did an amazing job! pachi pachi pachi ;P

Know how easy it is to fall into the trap of gaming/anime/work and not vector so I've made it part of my schedule! (At least one hour a night, give it a shot.)

I like the subtle gradients that you apply to her. Though some outlines were a bit off. But I really love Mami compare to the other girls in Madoka and you made her so cute here because of that I will add this to favorites.

Wow. (It was since ages since I checked Anime Paper!) The vectoring (and the points) were amazing! And... yea. I'm a Mami fan. So double the love! Woo! :3
