Hello; I have been trying to make something more original this time. I started from a manga panel (that I downloaded from here actually) and then attempted so many solutions to make the character (skull knight from berserk) look like he's traveling between the astral and the real world.
I added later some text to make the whole thing look more stylish and there you go! A brand new Berserk wallpaper for you my berserk loving brothers and sisters :P
This is by far, the most time consuming wallpaper I've made. I hope it's worth it and I appreciate your comments and suggestions ^^

I like the chaotic feel that this wall gives off. I like the idea of using an empty black background with a chaotic design on the middle, but I prefer it if you follow the rule of thirds somehow, maybe it could add an overall impact to the wall. I would like to point the text that you put it the background, it seems that it was cut in the middle( is it Skull Knight?). It is really important when you using texts that they can be read as easy as possible, because in using typography, you rely your message through texts instead of images or whatsoever. Overall, it was good.

Thanks Happy, I appreciate your suggestions! Typography can be used as effects too. It doesn't matter if it can't be read. Sometimes it's for the best. But in this case, the text wasn't cut in the middle, it just has lower opacity on the last letter of "skull" and the first letter of "knight". the K by the way is backwards just like the one in the first word ^^ so it's overall pretty easy to read.

I really love what you did with the background the contrast and colours are great! but the character himself looks a little low in quality, I'm not sure what you did, but I feel like there has been too much filtering put on him, since I can see the fringed edges and some grain in the lines. I think it would make much more impact if the lines on the character+horse were more clear and clean and stand out from the background. as for traveling between worlds, an idea might be to lay down some blur and glow at the portal that he's coming out from.

I actually did that on purpose -_- It didn't turn out to be a good idea... Duh, I don't even have the PSD anymore T_T Thanks for the critics anyway :D As for the blur and glow gate, I tried it and it looked inferior to this one.

This is probably the best Berserk wallpaper that I have seen so far. Fits the theme really well. But perhaps the black background could add a little more textures, to make it feel more 'berserk'-ish and more chaotic. It feels too dull at the back, even though the main point of attraction is actually the Skull Night in the middle of the wallpaper.
All in all, it is truly an amazing wallpaper. Great job.

It's a bit hard to distinguish the actually character in the wall but the background is really cool and I like the writing style :P And I actually like the blur around him haha
