Great wall as always, Cilou

As always, you manage to pull off a great looking wall at such short amount of time. I don't know what the anime is, but I'll share my thoughts on the wall, in a composition type type of opinion.

Color and Saturation: The use of the yellowish-reddish saturation was properly executed, not just a copy and paste color from the same scan. It gives the entire wall that afternoon feel.

Shades and Shadows: Ok, though you got the colors and saturation on point, a little more has to be desired with the shading and shadows department. The characters are still well lit, making the impression that a flash of light was made at the moment the picture was taken, and although that still is appropriate, I think you can get more drama if you darken their shade but with the edges of their coat and hair overly bright, producing a nice backlight effect. Take a look at this PICTURE for example. Also, take note of the building at the left. I think its shadows are off, particularly those parts of the wall behind the light as compared to the walk bridge, which I think was done really well.

Composition: I'm a bit bothered by the butterflies, but maybe it's because I don't know the anime or their purpose in this composition. They appear pasted in the scene, again because there was no play with their shading and shadows. If you can change the left wing and make it darker so that it is against the light, it may give an impression that it looks like part of the wall. Character vector is great as always. If you can, try to experiment with blurring the background elements like the building and bridge a bit and see what it looks like for you.

I hope I was as constructive as I can with this wall of yours. A lot of your works are good and shows your dedication to your craft. I think with a bit more prodding and a little more experimentation on your part, your walls will become excellent! Have a nice day

No one has ever make a wall from Zetsuen no Tempest. I really love that series and the character designs were really lovely.

Your character vectors are always nice and clean. The overall color and saturation gives you an afternoon feel. I really love how you paint the skies in your walls, they really set the overall mood and atmosphere that you are trying to convey.

But I do agree with @PaoPorsche regarding the butterflies and the buildings in the left were a bit off. To tell you frankly, those butterflies seem a little bit flat and they have this weird flying patterns(I think you have done several flying butterflies in some of your walls before in which you have a executed them excellently, I really wonder why you screwed up with this one). About the building, I think the problem is not just the shadows but also the perspective. I think they are not slanted in the proper direction. The signboard that has the Japenese texts(which is read as Zetsuen no Tempest) were really good but it would be much appreciated if you have them written vertically. But, to compensate for the left part of the wall, I think the walk bridge coupled with the the solar flare that you've added there was really superb and done excellently.

Overall, I think this a great wall but have some minor faults that needed some tweaking. I really love almost all your walls and will continue to support your works in the future. Still, adding this to my favs.

Amazing vectoring as always! I think you are getting better at shading; you didn't use any unnecessary shadows on the characters. The buildings in the background could definitely be more filtered/textured to look more realistic and you could also have blurred the entire background to give it a feeling of distance. You chose great colors and blended the characters with the orange sky perfectly. However, the lens flare is a really disturbing element to me and so are the shines on the windows. I believe you could make the lens flare fade out more so that it isn't so bright or maybe delete it entirely. Similarly, I wouldn't put so many shines on the window glass (they look kinda unnatural). And the swallowtails are a beautiful touch, they're pretty detailed, and you've done a great job on them but I can't help myself but scold you for copying the same one over and over. Two or three different butterfly models would be much better. Anyway, I can see how hard you worked on this and it definitely was worth all that effort! Certainly a fav for me. :D

i love the clarity and detail in this vector and wallpaper! =) Its nice to see a zetsuen no tempest wallpaper too. I think the shiny effect and all the colors really do blend well together. Great wallpaper!

Great job as always. I really love how you created the atmosphere in that image with the sunset and orange sky. The butterflies are also beautiful and I like how you arranged them so each one looks different from the other even though they're just different agnles and orientations.

If *Aika were to see this, she would have described it using a tragic phrase from one of Shakespeare plays. No beating around the bush, no mercy, just the plain and god-awful truth.

1. Overall, everything looks flat (lack of a good sense of distance between planes).
2. Overall, lighting makes little to no sense by having the sun the way you put it (especially for Yoshino).
3. Overall, the whole copy/paste of those butterflies is tacky.
4. Overall, materials, such as metal, glass, and concrete, look fake (lack of textures and proper shading). To me, everything in that scene looks like it was made out of plastic (dull and glossy).
5. Overall, this needs more work.
6. Overall, all this is just an opinion.

In the end, if Aika were to see this, she would’ve been mad. She would’ve only seen this as a form of tragedy. A tragedy that maybe could’ve ended up with a happy ending, if……………….…

I have come to be able to recognize a Cilou wall now! Great Job - the vectoring is brilliant as always. You're definitely getting better with the shadows though you could have put some in with the butterflies maybe. Other than that, this is a really amazing wallpaper. The colors, contrast and saturation especially...are perfect.

Nice colors, I can feel the afternoon sunset. but the wall looks kind of flat. The butterflies needs some streaks of shadow away from the sun.

I love dark color scheme wallpaper, but this catch my attention from first glance, particularly the shinning effect, it so clear! I wish there will be more wallpaper for Zetsuen no Tempest!

The background goes along very well with the setting of this series. Everything is incorporated very well, especially the butterflies
