My first wall for this year at last! yosh~
I’m glad that I managed to finish this wall and it doesn’t share the same fate as my Halloween wall, which is a shame (I failed to finish it xd).
Whenever I found a scan, it will end up as an adorable wall as I can’t help myself and I tend to end up making something which is sweet like chocolate…rofl
For my Vday wall, I decided to use a scan by Santa Matsuri.
This is the scan:
As usual, I need to extract and clean the scan, which can be challenging in order to get the colours right. XP
For the bg, I’ve used one of the patterns by Ransie3 which I’ve downloaded from DA. This time, I want to reduce the use of patterns and decided to use the only one which I’ve chosen as the bg, rather than relying on textures.
For the brushes, I manipulated the’ Flowers swirls hearts’ brush which I’ve downloaded from fbrushes.com.

ooh look how pretty!!! Hi Ree ree!!! well let me start off by saying what a beautiful wall... it is so colorful and alive. I love colors so thats why this wall caught my attention. XP the flowers around the character are beautifuly done...the colors in them blend in very nice and make them pop ^^. the hearts are very nice as well..love how you put the text in there...it looks very good...nothing seems to be out of place.. your work as always never disappoints me...She look adorable, and her facial expression is just too cute..her dress is absolutely lovely... She looks like she would fit perfectly on a box of chocolates. ^^ Overall very lovely work on this wall ree ree... youve have done it again..you made this wall stand out ^^

I like the arrangement of the flower brushes. You can extend the use of them for the background as well by playing around with opacity, filter and etc. The plaid background is kinda out of place somehow :/

Ahh...that's a great idea...to use the brushes as the bg and also to play with the opacity and stuff ^^ Bout the plaid bg, I was experimenting with it. ( no idea why I used it as the first place as well...apart from avoiding using any textures O.O)

I love the pretty vibrant colors. There are so many things thats great about having a simple wallpaper but yet this one has so many complex things at the same time which makes you wanna stare at it for a bit. Really nice job!
