I was a hardcore Prince Of Tennis fan about two years ago and I just got back into it again. I've always shipped Ryoma and Sakuno. They're really cute together. We all know that Ryoma is a tennis prodigy and Sakuno is the ditzy, sweet girl who is a great cook. They're different but they're certainly compatible in my book.

Although her lack of tennis skills is a running gag in the anime, Sakuno is a future regular player for her tennis team in the Manga. She's portrayed as mature and insightful there. I looked through some manga scans of Sakuno and found this particular page: http://mangafox.me/manga/prince_of_tennis/v11/c091/1.html

At first I simply wanted to color Sakuno there. Then I thought of putting shoujo elements into it (flowers and sparkles and all... XD) After doing that, I decided to put in Ryoma as well to create a scene of him acknowledging her skills. Okay, so that scene in made entirely by me, but there is really a scene where he actually praised her in PairPuri. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e_WW4O7TMT8

I ended up making a desktop wallpaper out of this. It's been a while since I tackled coloring and doing wallpapers. I've become rusty. OTL
