The overlapping of the bold text on top of the character is obtrusive. You should consider rearranging that. I do like the arrangement of the texts overall. I just hate the fact it's taking too much attention away from the girl due to the overlapping. The girl should had been the focus and not the text. However, it is completely fine to overlap text on the character but try to choose font size, weight, etc that does not take the attention away from the one that should be the main focus, which in this case is the girl. So what I'm trying to say is to rearrange it again or you can place the girl on top...in which case you will have to rearrange the text again anyway to make it fit better.

I really love the font on the very top. What is the name of that font?

Since it's you first wallpaper, and it seems like quite a decent start, I felt like giving you some criticism of my own. If you'll decide to make more wallpapers, hopefully it will be helpful.

First of all I think you have a pretty good taste when it comes to style and composition. The choices of scan, background, colors, fonts... all seems good to me. Text you choose fits to scan well too, overall feel is neither playful as text would suggest, nor serious like dark color theme, you've archived fine, abstract balance. Your typography is good too, and I have to disagree with mechanenko comment here - I don't really find it obstructive, and even through it takes more attention than character, there's nothing wrong with that. Since you've obviously been aiming at nice typography composition, you shouldn't try too hard at rearranging just to bring girl to front, unless of coarse you're fine with that idea and feel you can make it work out as well.

Even through generally idea and composition are very good, it lacks a bit at execution. There are many small mistakes typical for beginners, and together they made general impression worse.

For me personally, the biggest drawback are text drop shadows. I'm not sure about the thin text line in the middle - shadow bugs me a bit, but at same time I realise it might be worse without it. On the other note, I think it could totally work out without that shadow behind exclamation mark. It's very strong, distant, and together with a fact that mark is rotated, seems random. I'm not even sure if you need exclamation mark at all. Other than that, seems you've added a small drop shadow to bold font too, to make it stand out more. While generally it's a good idea, there's this one part where word "coffee" overlaps blue shape behind character, where you can see the shadow too clearly. I think maybe you should check how wall would look without that shadow in general, and if you still feel it looks better with it, you should try to somehow mask its presence just at that part, so it's not so obvious. Other than that, I like the fact that you used 2 colors for text, but I think word "some" seems misplaced when it comes to font. Not sure if it's 3rd font, or just lowercase version of bold point, but it seems like a waste to bring another font variant just for one word that doesn't hold much importance in overall context. Also, maybe lower part of typography would benefit from being closer to each other, just like higher part.

As for vector, I think it's a fine choice, and the duplicate shape you put behind works ok too.

As for background, it gives good general impression, but it can't be unseen that it's a texture that was resize above it's original size. Color and style of it are fine, but it could be a bit sharper. Maybe you could have used some brushes on top of it, make background more interesting and sharper in process.

My final advice is that, since it's your first wall you may be feeling not confident in it. but you've done well and aside of technical mistakes it's very promising so have faith in yourself.

Also 2 advices on submitting: first, if I remember correct it's possible to replace wall file in first revision with new version, so if you're purpose on uploading second revision was to fix error, I would replace instead. Other thing, when background of your wall already is low resolution, you may want to not upload whole wall in mega huge 3840x2400 size. I opened that one first and bluriness of bg threw me away.

The text that touches looks strange, since they seem like they're linked together. The background looks a tidbit plain. It would be cool to have like a perspective/3d viewpoint for the background, but just something very plain, like a spotlight kind of thing. The vector begs to blend in better with the background, as none of her colours really go with what you used.

Another small thing is that I feel like the "Coffee" should be bolded further or the gaps between the letters should be minimized. I really don't know why, but I think it might have to do with the fact that all of the letters take up a whole space, unlike letters like I, which make it looks like it's stretched out.
