Hmmm... did you by any chance use some gaussian blur 'only' on the shaded areas? It's just a sensation though, I'm not sure. Not that it hurts eh, but I think that in this case it doesn't serve any real purpose other than giving a hint of blur to whole wallpaper. ('_';;)

Good job on vectoring and colouring the whole thing though, now go make some shading for those poor trees in the far background :D

I love this wallpaper. The colors are very soothing. There is visual interest yet the design is simple. When used as a wallpaper, there will be alot of extra space for icons without making the desktop seem too busy. ^_^
