Touhou little wing 2: BORN TO BE FREE

I like this- it's got a sort of 'painted on canvas' look and feel to it. The images and colors blend really well, and it's easy on the eyes. +fav!

Love the textures, colors, and the painted look :) I like how they're sort of rising out of the textured grunginess, but not really... >:3 No sense in trying for a detailed interpretation after a 4-5 hour stint with terrorism material for a class presentation + paper due tomorrow, so I won't try. But, this looks great! :D

its a great piece, but I think the color change from purple to bright yellow-ish is a bit to drastic for me. I love the use of textures but tahts probably due to the fact that Im a whore for them.

What I feel when I see it? I feel empathy to a certain extent, but mostly I pick up on strength. To me it seems like the woman who is the main focus of this wall has a lot of strength. Like her soul is a very strong one that has grown powerful and been around a long time, one that would not be so easily swayed by the things that would sway most. I see in her that she is not trying to help, so much as being who she is and letting that be enough. I feel inspired. So you succeeded in your hope with me at least ^^ And I also think you made a really good wallpaper on all other scores as well. Really nice texturing, detail, great job with the stars, and it looks like a painting that's been computer enhanced. So it's definitely a fav for me, thanks very much for the amazing wallpaper ^_^

groovy excellent stylish design all those tiny irregular stains and the canvas texture go to gether perfectly cant see any flaws, so ill just fav it and scram...

I really like how everything appears somewhat faded or old, and the picture seems to resemble something angelic with the wings and yet something dark with the blindfolds and the coloring. It really catches the viewer in. I truly do like it.

Beautiful application of texture in this prettiful scan. It really feels like she's trying to grasp something that may be a little beyond reach unless she tries kind of idea. I really like how the texture isn't in your face and is rather subtle. The colouring is also pretty nice, however, I didn't like the top portion being a black blob-ish as much. It kind of takes away the effect with the girl in the center is the main focus because it kind of clashes with her hair colour. The colours around her from the other characters and the background itself emphasized her hair and brought her out from the rest. I think that if the top part wasn't so dark, that it would have been a more effective wallpaper.

Beautiful, looks like a painting. I think this wallpaper expresses the feelings of being free but something is keeping you back, making you get trapped within darkness(I'm not sure if I explained it right). The way she's reaching up meant that she wants to be free. The blindfold of her eyes means that she sees nothing but darkness. To me, that is what this wall is like. Great job on it, it looks amazing.

I must absolutely admit I like the look of this wallpaper...it lookes like it was painted or maybe etched on a canvas or perhaps maybe made as a painting or mural. But I like how it lookes the textures used and the colors as well...it gives this calm yet insightful look of the picture itself. Well done! Another one of my favorties!
